Mariana’s hair was wild 😂
Mariana Rastafari
As a hairdresser 💇🏼♀️ I came here to comment on her hair!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I love the Spanish at least first half of XVII th century, the zenith of cultural and military power, although by dificulties in economy and political inestabillity were unable to mantain its hegemony but by far a country to be recogniced with by the second half of the main. All portraits look amazing, It would have been great to see the Count Duke of Olivares or Prince Baltasar Carlos and Juan Jose de Austria, great job!!
One comment about the Habsburg jaw… many of them were afflicted with mandibular prognathism, also known as an “underbite”. When they smiled, a large gap would have been seen between the small maxilla and extended mandible, lower teeth protruding far beyond their upper teeth when they smiled. Some of them even had two rows of teeth in their lower jaws. Phillip IV had an extreme “Habsburg jaw” and his son Charles’ jaw so severe that he couldn’t close his lips together.
Wow! Philip IV looks so much like Alfonso XIII. Thanks to bring life to those portraits of our royal family.
Mola, jeje.
Thank you from Spain ❤
You're welcome 😊
Would you please do the most famous Renaissance Artists...
▪︎Raphael
▪︎Michelangelo
▪︎Leonardo da Vinci
There was a lot of rivalry and animosity between the three masters, albeit much admiration and respect for each others brilliance. Above all Michelangelo was angry and bitter about Raphael and da Vinci.
Very interesting topic. Would be great if you did them.
I still visit your excellent portraits of Simonetta Vespucci and Sandro Botticelli, every now and then. Very good!
I always enjoy your videos on the Habsburgs, one reason why they’re an interesting family to study is the inbreeding, you can really see the significance of its impacts here, especially in Charles II. Also, love the voiceovers!
I really liked this video!❤ Please do more of the Spanish monarchs.🎉
Muchas gracias y mucha suerte
Great video, I hope that one day you make another video about Charles II's wives. The Spanish court fashion on those times was really extreme! 😮
The Spanish clung to the farthingale skirt long after other countries no longer wore it. This was the most extreme form of the farthingale and ladies wore fantastic wigs to echo the volume of the skirt.
Great work!!👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! 😃!
Excellent work again. Thank you..
Love your videos 🎉 they look accurate to the real life monarchs
Your videos are great educational tools. I truly appreciate and enjoy your work. Thank you for all the effort you put into it.
You are very welcome!👍
Looks like so real.
Mother Nature has a way of not allowing inbreeding to go too far
Your videos are always fascinating, with a precise depiction of history and life-like characters.
Thank you very much!
Love the Witcher music you added lol
Marvelous ❤
Excellent
I love this format!!!!!
juste magnifique
As always, a great job. All aspects.
Thank you for what you do.
Another great video, thank you.
Nice birdnest hair Mariana, how many pigeons did you have to remove every morning?
Phillip iv named " El Rey Planeta/ The King Planet " for the extension and distances of her dominions ;; and the universal master Velazquez paint the family in your masterpiece " Las Meninas" one of the glorious masterpieces of Prado Museum or the first according many experts.
Beautiful work as always! In the near future can you make videos of Eastern empires more frequently? Ottomans, ancient Persians, China etc. would be awesome
WOW! BRAVO 👏 👏 👏 👏 ON THIS 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing video.
Nicely done. Can hardly to see more
Brilliant...too short...thank you@

Thanks from Germany ❤
You're welcome 😊
I saw that Elizabeth of France was Henrietta Maria’s older sister.
Please do flavius josephus❤
My gawd their jaws are huge😮
❤❤❤
Can you do one with Alexander actually giving a speech or saying things that he actually wrote in one of his letters, but all in ancient greek?
Why in ancient Greek? I don't get it...
@@panagiotisconstantinou Because he spoke ancient greek, and it would be realistic
What song is this!?!?
Poor king Charles
When they bit down did their bottom teeth go in front of their upper ones?
Imagine Queen of a vast global empire and you get a trench named in your honor 😂
The inbreeding was extreme within the Habsburgs.
Indeed. The same thing that was happening with the pharaohs. Trying to keep power within the family but inbreeding destroying them at the end.
@@panagiotisconstantinou Didn't know that, about the pharaohs. Yes, exactly as you said.
Are you up for some gwent?
Jolines... esos genes nada agraciados.
Wow. What a physical mess.
Because of Carlos II's protruding tongue, members of the Spanish court began to speak as if they had speech problems to flatter him, which allowed the emergence of "ceceos" in the phonology of Spanish Castilian, where the "zs", before "a", "o" and "u", and the "cs", before "e" and "i", are pronounced as linguodental phonemes. This feature does not exist in the Castilian spoken in Hispanic America.
