Sooooo I have 3 of these agms and a 400amp alternator still sit 13.9 to 14.4 I turn on I’m at like 15.6 I’d like to sit in the 15s all day w a 8k taramps amp
You are slowly killing you batteries by overvolting them. Yea they charge fast at that voltafe probably. Yea you dont notice any difference or any detrimental effects. The car isnt running that frequently. But after half a year theyll be dead.
Every ones doing this hack but most car battery are ok but AGM batery and lithium cant be charged at more than 14.8 because of the cells and how it draws current And most old amplifiers internals are max out at 16v And that could be why i seen lots of cars on fire lately on side of the road.
You can run AGM at 5.3 I have done it before no problem...
I thought the yellow wire is your sense wire, not the middle wire.
Resister inline in the excite wire?

I run at 15.9 cold 15.6 the pig tails had the diodes I’m wondering the life span…
Good, very good !!! #tomfrance
94 Chevy don't have sense wire
the alternator is already rectified and controlled to specified volt and i dont think adding a diode will increase the voltage. Fake!
Not fake! I use diodes inline on sense wire and it increases my charging voltage from 14.8v to 15.8v.
@@Nobody72472how much diodes did you use to get that 1 volt increase?
