My special needs son is glad that 611 is pulling excursions on a main line again and hopes that it will more often and that it will start pulling excursions between Charlottesville, Gordonsville, and Clifton Forge like the Canadian 4-6-2 Pacific's 1238 & 1286 did in the early 1990s.
Honestly one of the best cinematic clips of all time. I'd put this up there with films like "Rebel Without a Cause" and "Cool Hand Luke". The story telling through character development is truly a masterpiece and conveys such strong emotion in so few words. I've always felt such a strong personification through movement with these old locomotives and that quality was fully evident in this film. Keep up the great work! Love these vids!
This video is great. We rode this train and it was an awesome experience. Is there a way to contact you to see if we can use this video for a story about the train?
