We often forget that everything amazing is very close, you just need to take a step! In nature, you feel life is real and you find peace in yourself. All problems seem very distant at this moment, and time seems to freeze! Good video.
Your sure right buddy !! Thank you !!!
This is by far the best Joe Robinet/Hidden Woodsmen commercial I’ve ever seen. Ha! I’m just busting your balls
Great video. I love this format but less and less people seem to do them nowadays. At least the channels I follow. Sounds like you were a good boy this year. Congratulations on the video upgrade.
Haha !!! Thanks buddy I guess I was pretty good lol
Beat me to that punn...cheers
That’s Lot’s of stuff for a day hike. But my day hike load out is very similar. Most of the time I hit the woods to enjoy a lunch & coffee, so half the items in my pack are for that. Always try to make time to play with a tarp or hammock setup. Sometimes it’s just a coffee, hammock chair & a view 👍. Good to see you again. 🇨🇦.
Thank you buddy !!! Yeah there’s definitely more than I need but it’s sure fun to be out in the woods playing with your gear isn’t it 👊😁
Great vid man! Around 18:13 min the bag looks likes a frog winking from the patch placement. I too also love the GB outdoor axe!!!
Love the joy Robinet swag bro, love that channel
Howdy from East Tx. I found your channel thru Joe Robinet. Love that tripod.
If you're thinking of having your own personal logo, remember your last show? The big buck that paid you a visit? Reckon that would be the best logo ever.! There's a story behind that logo. Thought I thro that over for idea & suggestion. Another great show matey. Also you must have two beautiful women, to get you a go-pro. That was mighty thoughtful of them. As they say, in front of every man is a great woman.! or two. Cheers for sharing matey. We would like to see you one day, sitting near a stream/river, next to a fire reciting all your poems mate. Greetings from Australia.
Hello Buddy !!! Thank you so much for watching , and that is a pretty good idea on the logo !!! I’ll definitely keep that in mind as I still haven’t nailed down a logo yet. I definitely have an awesome wife and mother and I thank the Lord so much for both of them !!!! That’s a really awesome idea too about the poem reading !!! I really like that idea and when I get the right background I will definitely make a short video of me reading them !!!! Hope you have a great day buddy and cheers from Texas !!!
Heck yeah you're back 💯💯💯💪💪💪💪
Nice pack, amazing tools
Thank you !!!
Excellent loadout. Lots of good quality gear.
I’m always thinking long term when I get to the bush, even if it’s just for one day.
Looks like you’ve got it covered pretty well.
Love the fire kit. Simple and effective. I won’t sub anyone’s channel who doesn’t carry flint and steel (I’ve been using flint and steel as my primary means for over 50 years).
You could fit a small magnifying lense in your kit. The Pathfinder Store sells a nice 5X lense. Just something to think about.
This video got you a new subscriber.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much I really appreciate your support !!! It’s funny I normally have a magnifying glass in my fire kit but I took a basic Bushcraft class put on by Primitive Awakening last fall. I loaned it it a student and forgot to get it back. I definitely need to replace it though , I will check out the PF magnifying lens !!
Top quality in everything. I hope to be on that level soon if the wallet allows
Great setup brother 👍👍.
Thank you brother !!!
I love it !! great edit :)
Thank you !!
@@ClpBushcraft come on check my chanel for more beautiful picturs :)
Just found your channel and subscribed immediately. Love the journal idea 👍
Thank you so much !!! I hope to get back to making more videos , lt is just been hard with work and family right now. If you are on Instagram can check out my profile there , I still do a lot on Instagram showing off gear and outdoor camping content
@@ClpBushcraft will do!
Great video! Keep em coming bud! I was just about to chastise you for excessive name dropping when I realized I'd be the EXACT SAME WAY if it were me! Great choices for kit BTW!
Haha thank you buddy !!!
Very good, thank you very much
Great video, good to see you release a new one hope the camera helps. Hope all is well.
Thank you buddy !!
Craig, i love these videos of yours. Idk why but i have watched all your kit videos multiple times now lol. Maybe because we have similar styles.. Hoping for some new videos soon, hope all is well my friend!!
Thank you so much !! I really appreciate you !! Hopefully this fall I will start back with some videos. Right now here in Texas where I am it’s been so humid it’s almost miserable to get out in the woods.
Awesome video, everytime I watch one of these videos I find something else I should add or swap around 🤦♂️. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you so much !! Yes I do the same thing lol
Hope you got a kick back from the merchman? Great vid! Cheers, Jerbs.
Loved the kit! New subscriber here.
Thank you !!!!
Enjoy your videos! Guess you moved on from your HPG Junction Pack.. Hope you are able to put out some more videos...
Great video, brother.
Btw, I’ve been looking for a solid field notes cover. Do you have a link for the one you showed in the vid?
Love the anything by the Hidden Woodsman!! Not a fan of Joe R. !! I did enjoy the video, thanks for sharing. Cheers
Great setup, now real question how long can you run with all that on.
Pausing on 1min to thumbs up for the Grayl Geopress!
You have the compass I have on my shopping list too, it has to be the best one available with the multi function mirror and magnifying glass.
Do they make the TZERO in army green? Because i dont like to STAND OUT in the woods. Unless it's deer season then I like to stand out!! Lol. Thanks for the video! Enjoyed seeing what you carried. Do a camp out with your gear! That would be awesome.
Yes they make it now in OD and gray
Hey Craig, I’ve been looking out for more content. Can I ask, what woodknot gear press nests on the Grayl? I’m looking to upgrade from the sawyer. Thanks bud, keep going.
Hey buddy , yeah life has been super busy and CZcams has kinda took a back seat unfortunately. I definitely haven’t quit and hope to get some more videos this fall and winter. Both the 750 and 900 mil woodknot presses will nest the Geo Press. It’s not a tight fit so the grayl will move around inside it a little.
@@ClpBushcraft Yes it does for sure! Thank you for the response
Cool journal, what was the name? ;) Your bag has a funny smile at the end of the video.
It is from Bushcraft Journal Magazine
Watching a round water bottle roll down a hill makes you wish you had a canteen shape bottle.
Great video! How much does the ruck weigh with its gear? Thanks again
Thank you !!! I haven’t weighed it but I would say probably around 15 pounds maybe a little less
Hey....what is the size re the cook system....bail pot and pan?
Great channel and videos:)
Thank you , it’s a 900 ml pot
Oh yah great video 👍👍👍
Where did you get the sheath/holder for the orange handle saw? Have one like it but it came in a big ole plastic case, need something soft. Thank you!
It is from centerline systems
Thank you! Great saw that I usually end up putting in a pocket or the backpack without a cover. Too sharp to be doing that. :)

Which model LT Wright? No more Adventure Sworn?
I have acquired several Lt Wright models now but my go to is my custom Next Gen. I truly like a kephart style blade now over a woodlore style. I do still love my adventure sworn but it doesn’t see much use anymore
Some kids get ALL the cool toys.
It would be interesting to see how much the bag with all the contents and pouches costs. Not that i'm jealous or anything (cough).
Haha not sure but definitely several hundred
Somebody’s been watching Cimbrer Bushcraft 🗡🌲🪓
I have never heard of that person
Are a Bushcraft collector, or do you use your gear. Because that list of gear looks like it’s never been used. Mine looks worn out.
I use it all the time !! I just take care of my gear. Stuff to expensive for me to just beat up
@@ClpBushcraft I too am a Bushcrafter. I teach it and sell it.
But man that’s too new. My day pack is a 15 year old Munro. Most of my gear is old. Nothing younger that 5 years in fact. This is because my gear is top quality and kept well. Oh, correction. I bought the pathfinder steel canteen kit. Tested it this weekend past teaching a navigation class. It worked great, but heavy.
@@mikebox so if your gear isn’t old you can’t do or teach Bushcraft?
Is there a book I didn’t know to read saying you HAVE to have old gear and it HAS to look used and beat up in order to craft the bush????
@@TheBeardedBurton not what I said. But Congrates on thinking that. Not my point at all.
@@mikebox then what was your point? Why do you personally care what someone else’s gear looks like enough to brag about your own and how old and beat up it is, if that wasn’t your point?? Congrats on being an elitist and a troll 🤣
Fan boy for Joe Robinet, Malcom, etc, etc, etc. Got anything original?
You don’t like my video or gear go watch someone else’s stuff. I post what I like if you don’t like it that’s fine with me
I’d have better shelter and a compact sleep system that will keep me alive. Not just a plastic sheet
Im my opinion it really all depends on where you live or where your going on a day hike. I live in Texas and most of the time it’s not that cold where I am so I don’t have to worry much about hypothermia. If I lived up north where it’s below freeze in the winter then yes absolutely I would want something more substantial for a sleep system if I had to spend the night in the woods
Bro no offense but Joe Robinet is no big bushcrafter in my eyes, he camps a lot in NY. Guy lasted 1 day on Alone because he loses his ferro rod. More like a glamper.the Hill Brothers are way more knowledgeable, you should watch hill people gear channel. Especially on clothing and what to pack, guys are smart af.
No offense taken , every one there own. I like his channel because it’s entertaining to me and Joe is a really good guy and friend.
