Great channel, I ended up taking an extacto knife and cut some plastic from underneath the hand panel. It's thinner now and easier to pullup
Why didnt you just popped off the torso as usual?
Both upper and lower torso are hard plastic that won't release the ball joint and peg

It is risky to pull it apart, but you can carefully split the upper torso, this makes it easier to not only do the mod that you did, but to trim the tabs on the butterfly joint to give it more range as well! Probably wouldn't have even attempted this had I not seen your video, appreciate it!
@@guevaracaleb splitting the torso is indeed risky, and I've never done it properly before. However, you probably got access to everything and sounds like u made all the mods perfectly anyway

That waist cut is horrible. Why couldn't they have put the cut where the gold and red meet? This is my favourite IM armour and i have been hoping for a new one since the original Toybiz one but i am quite disappointed in it. Honestly, other than the weird shoulder joints the Toybiz has, i still think it is better looking than this one.

Where did you get the flight stand?
Here’s what I know about the setup of the torso joint and what methods ended up working well for me.
There seems to be a long rod with a ball on the bottom, with the top of the rod being fused to the upper torso (probably superglued). Additionally, the ball pops very firmly into the lower torso.
I ended up chopping the rod piece off of the upper torso with pick tools while arching the torso back, and super glued it back when I was done.
If you would do this, make sure to take the fins off with the pick tools so that they won’t forcibly tear out, loosen the balljoint so that you can swivel it without snapping the glue, try to pry out the longest amount of the rod as you can so that it can still pop back into the upper torso, and don’t put any pressure onto the upper torso when you’re trying to get the rod out so the figure won’t warp.
Also, if you want to keep the long glove plate intact but still want the extra possibility , removing some plastic and glue under it seems to work wellenough.

Yes u have described it well. The upper torso is the same hard plastic as the lower torso, because it has to house the butterfly joints. If there were no butterfly joints, it would have been a soft plastic, like Extremis, and would have been easier to pop off

How powerful of a dremel tool do you need for kind of project? I want to start doing this myself
Regular dremel will be fine, set as slowest speed. Get a low speed one if possible

@xcorpeo love the video and i got the mk 20 also but for some reason the right butterfly joint i completely stuck and i did the hot water and w exacto knife to go in between the joint but nothing so im pray for you to help me😅 🙏
Try wiggling it forward and back and a bit sideways. TBH I didn't notice the butterfly joints until I started the mod, bcos they don't move smoothly

Its fine. Yiu wouldn't have that much range in a big suit of armor. In my opinion yiu just ruined it
