That actually happened.... once... during WWI.
There was 1 single instance where a general amassed like 13-25 tanks? (cannot remember the exact number) and sent them all in one mass attack against the enemy trenches. Sadly, he didnt send any 'infantry' with them.. so almost all ended up destroyed, but it was the first 'all armor' push in the world.
It was also the attack that turned tanks into 'infantry support' role, rather than 'attack-role' for the rest of the war. Because the generals of both sides seeing that thought it meant tanks were 'useless' and that only Men could win.
Wasnt till quite a bit later near the end of the war that they tried again with a mass-push of tanks, only that time WITH infantry.

(Probably a mountain-sized tank, since it is more complex with strained parts, making it likely that even a small malfunction can cripple the thing. A mountain of tanks on the other hand is already some kind of eldritch horror or technological grey-goo terror that has to have every particle destroyed)
More tanks were used in this than were produced in world war one.

@@remixgameyt1172 I am. I feel lucky to survive this war, but my tank was in the middle of the pile, which give the best chance of survival. The tanks on the top are hammered by artillery and those on the bottom have to face minefields.

Watching this i think its clear the barrage is way too powerful. I would almost consider taking it out entierly, or if you want to keep it, make it was less deadly. Maybe units in trenches are immune?
This is a great idea, because I think Barrage actually needs to be *buffed* in regards to damage against tanks. Tanks tend to just drive right through it, but infantry are scoured off the map
I don't think barrage is programmed correctly. At 9:48 a blue 15 ball lands in barrage and lasts just as long as a red 1 ball that landed in it about 10-15 seconds later.
@@MonochromaticPrism It just triggers a barrage and sends the X ball back to start, I'm 90% sure I watched one with a number respawn with the same number after triggering one
Artillery is by far the largest killer in warfare. It should be deadly

This is one of the coolest spawning systems I've seen. It took me a minute to understand what was happening at the top but once I did it became instantly engaging in a way that most RNG never could. Like rolling dice but far far more chaotic. Genius idea!

Barrage probably shouldn't be able to damage the home base. It *should* do extra damage to tanks. Also tanks should probably cost more than one "point" to produce, so we don't get 200+ tanks spawning at once and just automatically ending the game

the cost of tanks is taken care by the low chance of a ball falling in the tank spawner, I would say that trenches should give more advantage to the marbles inside them, I saw multiple times where other marbles just shoot into them like nothing
@@michaelfuria4775 arguably not cope since this was a draw. Both sides got a single ball in and spawned a ridiculous number of tanks forcing a draw.

I have never seen this game before, but let me tell you I was at the edge of my seat as soon as I understood what was happening. And when that wall of tanks showed up, oh man I was shouting at the screen!
I guess it's a tie. In games, blue would win. But if we use real world logic, then both would lose, so nobody won this round.
I'd say in games red could've also won as they ended with more troops at the end... all depends on actual win condition.

9:36 might have spotted a bug, the red 35 ball goes into the officer hole 2x, but gets split again each time. Officer seems to function as split, not as intended
Looks like some options only spawn 1 of whatever it is regardless of the number on the ball, same with barrage and charge. 35 officers wouldnt do much more than 1

When I seen that 51 tanks drop around 12 mins I thought it was a lot. Then 200+ said "hold my beer"
ngl I was nearly dissapointed when the 216 stack balls nearly dropped into the officer hole, then it falls to the next hole and I can't stop grinning, moreover when the ball lands perfectly on the tank

Man, look at that first casualty. That red marble just got right out of the trench and ran forward like a madman for a sec in order to get to the forward trench. Before dying.
The only way this could have been better is if the tank waves had met in the middle
This needs to be released as an online game and singleplayer gamewhere you can control the units. Kills as a common unit can gain you tickets and tickets let you play as the stronger units when they spawn. Marbles are still implemented and still crazy rolls and AI takes over unpiloted vehicles. Only vehicles near spawn can be played as because you don't want to use a ticket to control a random tank in their spawn that just dies immediately.
I was so terrified at the wave of tanks, a true pyrrhic victory.
This channel is the most unexpected CZcams recommendation I've gotten and loved.

I was at The Somme and this is how it was. We spawned on top of blue but it was too late. Never Forget.
Still more tactical aptitude than was actually shown in WW1. 13,000 troops died in this 15 minute video. In the real battle of the Somme, 20,000 were killed in the first hour, so the level of massacre here is only about 2.5 times what actually happened.
remember this game counts a kill as 1 man, whatever is destroyed. In reality, if a British tank was torched, 8 men would go up in flames with it. If a German tank was cooked, around 22 men would fry inside it.. A cannon too only counts as one kill here, real life WW1 artillery had around a ten man crew. Machinegun and mortar teams too were 3-4 men.

Tanks should spawn the same way marbles do in the grow and shoot type marble games. They spawn so many at a time so they're all on the ground just row after row.

First time viewing and took awhile to understand the process but then at the end I saw that 200+ for red bouncing around as the tanks were closing in and it was a really awesome finish.

I probably won't post source code. However I've been wanting to make a 3rd channel where I post some basic tutorials, which would start with something simpler like how to make a marble race, and later on more advanced topics like this.

I would imagine an RTS like this.
You have no control over what you spawn. Some “higher up” decides what you get, and then you have to make do with that.
You get control over the units and the ability to construct things. Lower end units like riflemen get the best ability to build trenches, sandbags and bunkers while higher tier units are there to explosively disassemble those fortifications. Some limitations need to be in place to prevent tidalwaves of units. Less multipliers for example.
Players cannot form super-strategies as easily since they have to be able to handle any units in any combinations they get.

This was literally the first tie game I've ever seen. Sure the blue team beat red first but red literally sent a metric crapload of tanks at the last minute and took the blue base. Now they can start the battle anew. LOL
