acid is part of the soaking process and helps the enzyme making it easier to digest. i drain and wash the oats before cooking so its not sour, but you only need a little if u put too much it can come out sour
How have your pro eye injection treatment after effects being going? I found you from that series and I’m interested in it myself. Your under eye area looks good here but I’m not sure if that’s makeup.
Excellent! I've had steel cut oats before but never like you just showed us. This was great. However, ive never been a big oatmeal fan. I prefere my oats in cookies with dried cranberries and walnuts.😂 That said, this looks tempting! Thank you!
sprouting LOL you don't know what that means. if you are trying to activate the natural enzymes to convert starch to sugar 140 degree water and no acid soak for just 1 hour. you do realize 6 hours in acid is way more oxidation than regular pre rolled oats. that's literally what acid does its an oxidizing agent. Basic chemistry... no pun intended its actually acid chemistry. LOL
@@lilpeeva you are not sprouting or preventing oxidation. 2 misinformation's you present. Phatic acid is not a problem if you eat a balanced diet. It's only a problem in countries where they are only eating one staple grain and little to nothing else like in African countries where malnourished people don't have access to a variety of foods. Variety!!!!! eat from the rainbow and if you eat meat phytates from ALL plants will never cause a nutritional deficiency. Furthermore a few pinches of sea salt mixed in your oats has enough minerals in it and will bind the phytic acid and give some flavor and electrolytes. Phytates really only effect the current meal and cannot take minerals already absorbed out of the body. Take everything with a whole GRAIN of salt and eat your meats that will more than make up for any and all vegetable phytic acid chelation effects. You don't need to do this unless your diet consist of 100 % oats and legumes and even then adding sea salt or other vegetables high in minerals like spinach to your diet counters the miniscule effect. People like to soak dried legumes because they cook faster.... removing phytates was not why our ancestors soaked dried grains but it was an added benefit scientists figured out centuries later. stop spreading misinformation.
P.S. I know this looks like a lot of work but i like to meal prep a big bowl on a sunday to have for the week
I poach two eggs with the oatmeal. I give them about a 45 second head start before adding me oatmeal.
yum
the acv soak doesnt make it taste sour? & why do i even need an acid lol

adding apc works to break down phytic acid and aids in digestion
