I started drinking dandelion tea and lemon infused water. Along with my usual green tea with honey. They not only are good for the kidneys but the liver.👍🏾

Better see a renal specialist for your proteinuria as early intervention helps to delay renal decline..
The worst thing is to ingest high potassium when your kidney fails because your retention of potassium in your body is fatal..

Husband went on low sodium, plant based whole food diet with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for a month and a half now. UACR went down from 336 to 180 during this time. Urine RBC also disappeared. He also takes fish oil, b complex and calcium with d3+k2+zinc supplement ( his serum calcium was a little bit low in the initial test). He gets early morning sunshine for fifteen minutes without sun screen. He eats seaweed for iodine, nuts and seeds for zinc. Check with a renal dietician who can make a suitable meal plan for your husband. Mine is not diabetic and he is allowed to eat sweet fruits in moderation.
