Maybe if in the next stop, halt will be only for 1mint & passengers wants to entry into the same coach then it ll be a problem for them during night time to move here & there for to entry inside as you have locked it there. If there is a RAC then also you can book after chart prepaid it will conform coz Indian railways are keep almost 400seat for tatkal..if there is no booking on tatkal after chat all rac will be clear.. You can book rac ticket also
