Hand Slasher is a nightmare sometimes, I get so excited when I break free... only to get grabbed by another titan. :')
Arm cut is really good, when my hand slasher was on cooldown and I was about to get grabbed and didn’t have enough time to pull away, I clicked and ended up slashing its arm off, looks pretty epic too

I honestly recommend buying arm cut before hand slasher. They do the same job (giving you an extra chance.) Hand slasher takes a full blade to work while arm cut does not. Sure hand slasher has a 120 second cool down while arm cut has a 150 second cool down. Hand slasher also immobilizes the titan for a very short amount of time, however hand slasher is 50k more than arm cut. That is a staggering amount for a beginner. Plus hand slasher requires a full blade to even be functional. If you’re on your last blade and you don’t have perfect gear you are dead!
In conclusion I believe you should buy arm cut first and then hand slasher.
Edit: Recharge times.
Arm cut: 150 seconds to recharge.
Hand slasher: 120 seconds to recharge.
Blind: 65 seconds to recharge.
Jaw cut: 60 seconds
Ankle cut: 60 seconds
Blades throw: 25 second to recharge.
You've convinced me that arm cut isn't all that bad. Still arm cut does use up a lot of durability, but it will still activate even if it breaks the blade (unlike hand slasher). I think arm cut activates even if you're not about to get caught though. For a beginner, it might be better to buy arm cut, but I think it's still up to personal preference in the end.

I ankle cut then kill them and when cool-down I blind and blade throw the titans until it’s back and I did the whole forest quest like that
can someone help me on how to activate the ankle cut skill? My button to activate is the V, but I always click and it ends up not working and I die. Is there anything I can do? The last time I played I managed to activate the ability by luck, I was in despair because there were two abnormal titans chasing me, but I don't even know how I did it.

Can the first gear or our defualt gear does hand slasher work?
Bit late but, Any gear works with Hand slasher, you just need a full durability blade for it to work
