Iron maiden was invented by historians and teachers to educate us about history and literature. They can sell out every stadium on the planet, even 3rd world countries, not bad after 40+ years. And even fans that don't speak English, sing along to a maiden song.

Iron Maiden are from London, England. That song however is about the medieval Scotland. Hence the word Clansman.

English band, I don't think they had any radio air time in England until mid to late 90s, I don't know about in the US. I think Aces High you were asking, that song was about the battle of Britain, defending against the German air raids. The siren mention is an air raid siren which would warn people of an impending attack.

And they've got their own plane (big ass Boeing) with Bruce Dickenson as the pilot. If you get the chance, just go and see them. It'll be the best concert you've ever experienced. Up the Irons. Maiden has been touring for over 40 years now well, they're supposed to finish their Legacy of the Beast tour starting back up in 21' had to cancel the 20' shows due to Covid. But hoping to get back out and they have a new album coming out maybe later this year or early next year followed by another tour. The singer is also the bands pilot, the last big world tour they used a customized 747 jumbo jet. Google that stuff, and youtube it.. Been a Maiden fan since 83' I was like 10 years old. This band has only gotten bigger and better over the years. The Legacy of the Beast tour was off the charts with stage show...

You mentioned the one song from Iron Maiden that is my 2nd favorite - "Hallowed be thy Name." My first is "Caught Somewhere in Time." In my opinion that was the pinnacle of their achievement in both vocals and instruments. It all came together on that album. The songs "Caught Somewhere in Time" and "Wasted Years" were the best.
