When I was a school kid at French wood Secondary school ( 1960 ) l bought pies at Mrs Mills pie shop in Manchester road. Still dream of those fabulous round pies plus the mini 1penny loaf. Superb pies.

All the pies look awesome. I live in the west of Canada where they do not take pies seriously. There are some but they are hard to find and expensive. The pork pie in particular look great. Remind me of the legendary Dashley's pies of Oxton Road, Birkenhead, sadly long gone. Great video. Thank you.

I used to sell the fat to the bakery back in the 1990' for the pies. Good quality without pallet cling if eaten cold. Good old fashioned hot water pastry gives it that crisp bite. Much better than the greasy melton mobry pastry that can give heart burn.

As an expatriate Westmorlandese resident in north Lancashire I have to say that the butter pie is sacred. It should go on the Lancashire flag

Now one of the best came from Chroley . Marsdens wow great pies. Nice steak and kidney pud we cant get then either. Great stream mate. Thanks . Only thing thats wrong with your stream is that you have made me very hungery LOL

Prefer Berry's pies from New Hall Lane, only minutes away from Rounds. Best meat and potato pie ever was Gardener's pie shop in Lostock Hall near Preston, gone but not forgotten.

  • @leeyo5494

the pies are crap for the money NOW, they use to be cheap and everyone went and they was good value for the price a few years back when they was low cost, a new owner took it over and all the prices went up 4x and they wasnt anything like the value for money now that they was- FACT!
