This is my all-time favourite book so I'm a little nervous as to how this pans out, but it's certainly got some potential. Isabella Russo was fantastic in A School of Rock so I certainly wouldn't be opposed to her having the part in the final show, if it gets that far quickly enough.
This song is great as a stand-alone and these kids performed it really well but it doesn't quite fit the tone of the book at all. It's way too cheery and cheesy.

no, I agree. good song. but not for the book thief. BUT it's also only in it's demo state and songs come a long way from demo to broadway
though I do appreciate they added the cussing
Musicals are always different from the books. This will be performed live they can't make every detail work out
