Love the video! Not only did trade evolutions continue through Gen 6, they added held item requirements - e.g., Scyther having to hold metal coat during a trade to become Scizor.

Thanks for another great video! I was wondering if you make another pokemon yellow video you might consider turning the volume on pokemon up very slightly. I have seen a few pokemon videos in the past with soft sound on and it was very soothing and nostalgic, so maybe try it out and see if you like it.

Quite a lot of pokemon evolve by trading in later generations! At least one in every generation until gen 6. Lots of gen 2 and gen 4 pokemon evolve by trading with an item, kings rock, metal coat, etc.

iirc in Scarlet you had to trade an item to evolve Charcadet
