I love these yachts' style and I like the solar skin panels; it looks futuristic.
What climate crisses? Awsome ship though.
Great video and content. It would be nice to see more stats, e.g. combined distance; confirmation ocean going; water; fuel etc. The same for eco 60 and sail eco versions too. It helps with differentiation and guides future buyers, stimulated by this video.
The leader in the industry! Thank you for posting this video. The weight and energy usage of everything is important, like HVAC.
Question, can a heat pump be used on these? Maybe not geothermal, unless ocean water heat transfer is a thing. 🤣
Great production, more please and if possible real world starts on energy consumption and recharge and regen possibilities
The hearing and cooling is very easy for boat. The solution is a combo of water source and air source heat pumps.
These heat pumps will toggle between the different medium as a function of their temperature difference to the air and if cooling is needed or hearing.
If the water temp below the boat is warmer than the local atmosphere then use the water source heat pump for heating. If the air is cooler than the water then use the air for cooling.
The solar and betterues can power the heat pump.
The boat will need to constructed with a high degree of thermal insulation and air flow highly controlled so heat or cooling is not lost.
Are you releasing this on the 60 footer as well ?
I really like the boats and designs, but I would really like to know whether or not it can be a true Bluewater cruiser i.e. with freshwater and traveling a distance on the electricity made from the solar panels
Just show range tests. We’ve all seen these tiring promotion videos. What’s the peak realistic watt production in the Caribbean in December and June? What’s the range at max speed? Hire me as a consultant for your marketing, pay me with a weekend of testing this yacht with a trip from FLL to Nassau.
Sunreef is my favorite. i will take a 80Power(with no white anything on it)
the Visions are nice, but where they are made = NO WAY.
The big question is, how much does a battery change cost..
It's probably a little rough in big waves no stabilizers
Moice...
Eco with Batteries from hell‼️‼️‼️
Too much fluff and very little substance.
is it an Ocean worthy ship? Or, just another Mediterranean cruiser….
Glad to see the industry going in this direction. If I ever brought a yacht it would be something like this maybe with a hydrogen power source in addition to the solar panels
Somebody needs to invent solar panels that actally look good. These just look messy and cluttered.
It would be great if more of this video was spent focused on the boat, not someone's face at close range. The first 90 seconds are basically just weird glam shots of a rich looking white guy.
That’s all good and well. But the co2 generated just to make the batteries just move pollution to another place so not really clean as advertised
Such annoying music.
This is such a joke. If you believe big yachts are contributing to a climate crisis, there's one cure: don't buy a yacht. Take public transportation to a beach like a normie, and most of the fun you would have had on that yacht.
China's factories over 50 miles plus burning pollution...if you want to change go to China and tell them to stop... your little boat is slow and limited in travel... You need sails
At 5:46 on the video.
300 NM range with 1MWh + solar
Let's say cruising speed is 7kt
So that's 2 days of sun (43h)
Solar gives then around 440 kWh for 2 days and 200m² surface in good condition.
Total 1.44 MWh with the 1 MWh power bank.
So a constant power of 33 kW to get 7kt for a 70t catamaran without a generator.
This is magic
For info :
33 kW is the power needed to get 7kt for a 14t catamaran not a 70t.
