This game was a message to all of those fans who said Chelsea don’t need a new striker in the summer cause Jackson is developing “well” . Yes he has developed but he is still not anywhere near the levels we should have at Chelsea. Yes he’s improved his hold up play and his runs but what’s the point if in the end he can’t put anything in the back of the net. We don’t need any more chance creators . We have palmer, mudryk , madueke , enjo, Reece, nkunku, gusto, Connor , carney for that . We need someone lethal who can put the ball in the net. We need someone like osimhen . I bet if he was up front there for us , we would’ve easily won.

Poch didn't get everything right, 1. Changed a winning 6-0 line up, 2. Chelsea played without a left winger and made it easy for City to double up on Madueke 3. No creativity in the middle of the park when you play Enzo and Caicedo, both player are holding midfielder, they are slow, they just tackle and pass the ball, no dribble, no opening up the defence no running quickly with the ball, 4.Disasi is not 1 v 1 specialist he shouldn't put him on the right when all city's attack was coming from the right.

I don't think we should be signing Gyorkes. He's in the exact same position that Jackson was last season. And look at Jackson now. If anything Gyorkes is even more of a gamble since he plays in a worse league than Jackson did. We need a guarantee and Gyorkes isn't that. I think Lewandowski is a perfect addition. Something that needs to be addressed is the defence. Yet another great defensive performance from Trevoh and silva. Disasi and Nadia shine are such liabilities. Should not play again, they are light level centre backs

Disasi and Badiashile are NOT good enough and should be sold - but instead we're getting rid of Silva because he's "too old" and Chalobah because, even though he's much better than Disasi, he's not a player in clearlake's eyes, he's only "pure profit" for them.

Viktor Gyokeres is a striker that can fit in perfectly at Chelsea. Oshimen is another striker that can be a very beautiful addition to the squad

Though Chilwell is not a winger but Poch replacing Cucurella with Chilwell and Madueke with Mudryk when he could've kept Cucurella, bringing in Chilwell or Sterling on that left wing to support Cucurella with Fernandez making way. Thank you, I know now plenty of people have made videos analysing his game and have began to talk about him as he should be but my lord what a striker Gyökeres is. If you actually watch him play in every phase of the game there is very very few strikers as complete in world football atm. Strong, powerful, quick, both footed, can create chances from nothing score from distance up close and in the air, his movement is elite and for a big man his close control and dribbling is fantastic, will become a world beater anywhere he goes so Chelsea have to be the ones who snap him up, there’s not another striker in the world I would take over him (bar Kane but he’s obviously much older and would never happen)

Jackson doesn't qualify as a professional footballer most of the time. It's not the misses that got me, it was when he rounded the keeper and ruined the cutback. Sometimes you miss chances. There's no excuse to miss simple passes.

Honestly not sure how I feel about a striker who’s playing his first season in a top flight league at the age of 25. I know he’s tearing it up in Portugal, but the Premier League is a big step up in competition. If Osimhen’s a no go, I think our top target should be Vlahovic… could’ve had him last season for what, €70M which is a little over £60M? And I’m not sure the gap between him and Osimhen is anywhere close to as big as their price tags suggest. He scored 17 goals in 21 games with Fiorentina before transferring to Juventus in January, and his production hasn’t been as high since then but it seems like he’s playing in a system that doesn’t give as consistent striker service, and being that it’s a 3-5-2 he’s also sharing the service with Chiesa. Yet this season he still has the 2nd most goals in Series A, which for the record is lower scoring than the Premier League and a big step up in competition, making his production this season that much more impressive

Jackson is our number one problem and Pochentino is number two.
Firstly we already know Jackson's strengths and weaknesses. He needs to play with a finisher upfront like Cole Palmer, or Carney. He is good at driving forward but is a bad finisher. Often he would drive the ball upfront with no help. Secondly our subs came in too late. Thirdly Gallagher, Enzo and Caicedo are almost the same player, one of them has to be a sub while a stylish fast forward like Mudryk, Or Carney plays more minutes. When you create chances but do not look like scoring it all points to the gaffer for me. Play to your team's strengths.....wrong tactics
Play Gyokeres in a similar system as he’s playing now and he’ll deliver. The guy is a beast.
Jackson would do well on loan in the premier league he was showing that he can be fast and strong on The counter attack but fails on delivery he has good positioning to he needs some confidence and practice 1vs with the keeper, i probably think he should start over mudrky on the left wing he use to play lw before he moved to Chelsea and he has the speed and hold up to make a impact 🤷🏼♂️

I wanted to get your thoughts on this. Since Jackson is not a proper #9, why don’t we give Mudryk the opportunity to be the highest attacker, so he can make pacey runs in behind? He played some of his best football as a #10 but if we slide Cole Palmer in behind Mudryk, Noni on the right, and Gallagher on the left, we can give Mudryk the ability to use his pace to beat CB’s.

Lukaku is a finisher and he's a threat for most defenders
Cfc played in a 4-3-3, a system city has overly relied on. City very well knew how to identify and take advantage of its loopholes and also manage the strength of the system. Neither Jackson nor Palmer alone could independently produce magic even with only the keeper to beat.
Why not give Lukaku another shot as the main striker ? Feeding balls from Palmer, Jackson, Nkunku and Gusto. ( purposefully not mention Sterling/madueke, they both need to be shipped out). Chillwell, Reece James are both good backups, even Cucurella, but injury prone. Mudryk may be given another season to prove himself
NICOLAS JACKSON NEED HELP. that help is a new sticker. Debryune was rooming around without being challenged. So we need something to be done in the midfield. City goal came from the carelessness of modrich and Cucurelle. We need an intelligent on that left side.

2 great saves and one chance he didnt take the chance because walker and stone was experience enough to defend the goal quickly it threw jackson off. Critics him no problem yes he is not clinical in front of goal, he needs more development and experience which he is doing.
Remember cole palmer grew up under man city and pep, jackson grew up under no one and will come great at chelsea..... I am happy with what I saw with the team and jackson he cooked man city defence which striker does that.
