I just came back to hearthstone and with the free deck for returning players I've made a mix of dude-pure paladin and having a relatively good success with it. Also its just a fun deck!
Man I remember when muster for battle was first released it was the single best 3 drop in the game and now it’s like upper mid tier at best crazy how the game has changed
I reached legend for the first time ever with a very similar deck . Crusaders aura is really insane since the minions even gain +1 health which feels like it slightly snowballs ur tiny minions . Even through a few board clears, the deck can build a good 2-3 waves of solid threats and if they cannot clear it even once , that board can win you the game

This is a little offtopic, but I just have to ask : Is anybody else encountering these bots on ranked standard ladder? They play outrageously bad and do not consider any synergies whatsoever. They dont show up under your recent opponents tab either. For me it kills the fun tbh. I play between Gold 5 and Plat on EU
Yes, I ran into some as well while restoring my star bonus this month after a couple months away from ladder. Once you beat them and rank up, they should eventually start going away. I agree that it's not remotely fun to play them.
yea curse warlock has been super insane only been losing if I miss cards early game against certain decks went from diamond 5 to 2k legend in 3 days from using it ive only been legend with pure paladin and hound hunter once before at 3k
@@big123lak I'm trying a menagerie blackrock deck at the moment, hoping maybe it can get large threats out fast enough to just power through. But doubt that is gonna be the answer, warlock is just incredibly strong atm
I'm playing the Pure paladin loan deck I got to choose for returning players and I got to platinum very easily, but it got really tough fast. How am I supposed to get legend with this deck, it's impossible, time-wise mainly. A warlock played his 9 mana titan for 3 mana on mana 5 and I don't even know how, nothing on board, I just saw Forge from his hand and then I'm dead 2 turns later :D
yea u need a deck that handle meta I dont think pure paladin is doing much unless u make this version of it which is doing decent rn and u should be able to get enough dust from gold
diamond 5 to legend is where it ramps up if u have a meta deck you can get it bro do your quests and try to make a paladin deck since you have a lot of good cards for it already save gold for a mini set to disenchant too when u have the gold
Dude paladin aint my cup of tea, but i might just have to play it for the wins and get back to Diamond rank. Sadly i don't have the paladin Titan yet tho
Bro worst fuckin advise you can give someone is telling them to ignore hunter secrets just because you get something bad. Every time i dont play around the secret that gives the hunter a free minion when i spend all my mana they get something that benefits them and makes my life miserable. Like the minion that does 1 dmg to every enemy minion when they cast a spell. Now think about that, a hunter with 245089245089280423084 spells in their hand and now i can’t rid of that minion. This deck is only good, if the person you are playing against has no aoe…which is like, idk mech rogue?
Paladin is absolutely one of the worst classes in the game right now, no board clear, no discover no OTK, can be easily out tempoed by a mage basically you throw all your minions into crusader aura and if it ain't working gg. Your best shot is Countess random BS as your win con.
@@noflyyzone4857Congrats on your achievement, it is not just board clear that it is lacking it got Eartherns in Titans that are too slow and don't compliment this archetype at all and Amitus can be replaced with any of the other 7 drops legendaries without making any difference..

Same here, from all the free decks, the pure paladin seemed the most straight forward and fun deck to grab
I'm bummed that Stewart the Steward isn't in this deck.
That card isn't good, but for some reason I enjoy it.
ive played a few paladins at 2k legend that all ran Stewart in this exact deck and was annoying early game

Amitus is v good in this deck. The max 2 health loss thing matters a lot against mage and hunter.

Yea that’s why I reached legend for the first time ever with it . A deck does not need board clears if it is just agro heavy . It’s not a control deck
