      @@Poufkimashoula1 well you would have to steal a helicopter to get out there. so there is your food run machine. get there, kill all or join forces. airports will eventually be abandoned so you will have a fuel supply. yeah, I've thought about this 😂🤣
      if you're already on the rig, you know your flyer is gonna show up, bc they know it's a damn safe place. you will enough time with comms to get him there
      you will have enough meds and life saving devices on board for some time.

    I’d never worked on these jobs or industry. There are so many components, complicated and just surrounded by metals and restrictive hallways where you cant fuck around or bang onto something hard that’ll be painful lol and the bad weather, being in the middle of the ocean…nahhh

    women can work offshore too . women have to be strong like a men to work in the men field line of works they do in there line of work... A man is much stronger that of the woman. In my younger days i work like a man in my life and now i am disable because of it. let the men do the hard work and they can take it....thank you for the show of offshore on the oil rigs.. i am proud of all people who work in the oil fields on land and on the seas and oceans..

      Hey man that's a pretty good skill too have. It's good to have BOSIET training. Though it is expensive and often provided by a company anyway. Just keep looking for opportunities with diving company's. The industry is in a bit of a down turn at the moment. So maybe better opportunities will be available in the future

      Strangely I knew an alcoholic who used to work on Oil Rigs [1970's],[UK]..he never was allowed to drink there, so maybe that was why he liked it [no temptation]
      On shore again, he succumbed to alcoholism, and died, a young man of barely 40 yrs. He earned good money on the rigs.

    What is the name of this rig? I worked the SEDCO 709 in the 70’s. Plenty of adrenaline moments. A “C clip “ that retained the gears on the crane let go. The boom and riser pipe crashed onto the deck of supply ship in heavy seas. The crane operator started climbing the rails to jump off thinking the whole crane was going into the ocean. At the last second he realized it was just the boom going over. 😂

      Plenty of women work offshore and have done for decades. I did seven years as a geologist working on semi-subs and drillships and know that it's not a particularly hazardous job overall. Getting to and from the rigs on helicopters is probably the most dangerous part.

When I worked at Transocean, many people in the Houston offices, safe and sound- men and women alike- made more than the workers offshore. How does your logic explain this?

    I was a seagull for some rigs. Onshore engineering support. I would fly in - only in flat calm weather. Eat their food, crap all over them and fly out. Hence a seagull. Aka remf lol lucky for some.

    I can see why they don't do that. They apparently must make adjustments during such a time.
