I have flown the non premium F1C extensively. It is ok as a support jet, but terrible in a dogfight. It will be out maneuvered by ANY top tier jet. You will curse this thing ANY time someone starts turning, and you quickly fall behind because it turns like a dump truck. The radar will easily lose tracking on anything that isn't flying upward at a steep angle. Thus, the semi active missiles are nearly worthless in most scenarios. If you buy this thing, save yourself a lot of headaches and use the load out with 3 IR missiles and 2 gun pods. Stay back to the side until the enemy engages, then just lob IR missiles at them once they low on energy and hope something connects. After that, try to help clean up with the 4 30 mm cannons. Sadly, your experience will depend entirely on whether the rest of your team is really good. If they are, you'll get some easy mop up kills and do well. If not, you will do nothing and die.
I disagree with you on the turning and the radar, in the recent months it has been buffed and is now much better at turning and the radar is probably my favorite.
This is one of the premiums I do not regret buying. I was able to grind the entire French air tech tree over 5 days during a holiday break, and I did not have to play all day to do it. I highly recommend this aircraft over the Milan.
@@TacticalmailmanII there are some bias towards some specific vehicles but China and France are the nations with least bias probably, for example Swedish cv9040 still did not get its radar lock while Bmp2m puma and bradly got them. I can understand people that get mad about that
I’m just gonna say it, the Mirage F1 is basically just a Phantom with less missiles, you play it almost exactly the same as say the F-4J, long range support fighter with access to good missiles

How is this "arguably the best tier 7 premium aircraft"? Even arguing from a multirole standpoint, the F-4J is a better jet, it has a PD radar with Skyflashes that won't be chaffed easily (CW vs Pulse seekerhead), it has enough ordinance to bomb a base+, it has a vulcan and it can maneuver better than the F1C. The only redeeming factor of the F1s are the Magic 2s and the number of flares. I get Tankenstein is more a Ground player, but if anyone here wants jet recommendations watch Defyn instead.
I think this plane under performs when facing mass F-16s and other Apex Pred tech tree planes. I wish it carried more magic 2's.... the radar 530F missiles suck nuts since 1 flare will make it a wasted shot and the Matra missiles are basically the same way. I been trying to play it and I suffer most of the time I feel like
It's late. But Magic2's are compensate every bad thing about this plane even tho its got only 2. In sim these missiles are the best compared to what i used (Aim9L,R60M,Aim9J). Also a little bit flare resistant

@@Ackz89 I have the ja37c viggen and I do love the viggen because, like you, I love deltas. But I must say the mirage 2000 is the most fun I’ve had at top tier. The magic 2’s and flight performance is amazing. The radar is definitely one of the best radars I’ve used in game. You hardly lose your lock and the missiles almost always hit the target. The only down side is the matra supers are a little slow compared to other fox 1’s, however, I find them to be more reliable.

This thing sucks DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. 1) it's outperformed by literally everything at 11.3. 2) the radar and the radar missiles are some of the easiest to notch and chaff in the game 3) you can't even carry a full bomb load with the x2 magics so it's either full air to air or full air to ground.
Just an update on how this thing performs. Max uptiers to 12.3 every game? Yup. Terrible radar with no PD at 11.3? Yup. Slower than most other aircraft at your BR while still bleeding fuel like hell? Yup. Good dogfighter? Nope How much will it cost you? Yes Are the aircraft that it gets you worth it? No, if you want decent dorito wing aircraft and you want to have a fun grind just get the J35XS and grind for the top tiers there, I've done it and It barely took me a month to do so (I didnt use GE. Yes I had a premium account.) I can't stand playing any games in this aircraft and while the J35XS has significant weaknesses the strengths far outdo them. Don't @ me. Edit: It's good in ground RB for CAS so long as you're careful. Thats about it though.
as a player with 2000 hours lsn to this , if you are a new player this will be hell for you you are going to play vs f14/f16 and you will keep dying . any jet at11BR and above is going to be a lot of times vs f14/16 so only buy things below that BR . the reason war thunder put those jets is to revive the high tire matches so it wont be f14/16 vs f14/16 match, and after you buy this jet at 11.3 BR you will want to spend more money to a lower tire jet why? , your dying and not having fun remember? even i , A player with 2000 hours i wont buy those jets . if you all ready bought a jet at 11 BR or above , i`m so sorry for being late. reach level 3 on aviation and use bombers to grind an event seasons and sell those vehicles and get your self a jet below 11BR :) idk why you want a USSR aviation USA tec tree is ruling right now, but the su25k is the best deal for USSR now . you don`t want to lsn ? fine mate we will feast on you with f14/16 enjoy :)

Bruh this plane needs to be 11.0 it just can't even compete with the MiG-21Bis's and MiG-23M's, why this plane is 11.3 why it fights planes are more capable in every single way idk, and if you even see that your fighting the US you might as well just leave, this thing can't even think about fighting F-14's and F-16 just mop it across the floor. The R550 2's feel way more FLR hungary than the R550 1 and just shit it randomly when going after someone. It comes down to Opinion and what tech tree you play. For instance I am buying the F1 as the French tree is the last techtree I’m grinding for a while.
@@AL164 will be once I have it. Ambush tactics are how to use it. Don’t bother with the SARH missiles go for the bigger IR missiles and the Magic 2s and flank. Boring gameplay but you’ll get 2-3 kills average with it.
@@AL164 the issue with defyn and other CCs is they go for high kill games to show on CZcams making they’re play style very aggressive. The F1 isn’t a aggressive plane.

Tankenstein might recommend it, but F1C in my experience is far from a beginner airplane, very far. the performance are ever so slightly less than okay, the acceleration is not that great either, & has limited ordnance. this is the first plane in the world to ever shot down an F-14, u can even turn in on a stupid F-14 player in the game, it gets the job done. but getting urself into that category will leave u with tremendous pain & long learning curve.. but some point i can agree, Magic 2 is far better than R-60Ms present on MiG-23ML, also better than AIM-9Ps on F-104S, SAAB 35FS, & Japanese F-4EJ ADTW. though i should say the best premium this update brought has to be the F.3 Phantom, its probably the heaviest loaded Multirole premium in the game as for now, has pretty crazy dogfight capability & insane amount of air-to-air armaments, and tell u what, Skyflash > AIM-7E(DF)+ R-24R + R.530F Super, & AIM-9G > R-60M, all day, fight me.
I would absolutely recommend this plane. Great missiles. Great bomb loadout. Handles well. The flares are numerous. Great in a dogfight. Plus so good looking

This isn't a bad premium. It's pretty damn good. The 530 supers are okay, and right now the Magic 2's are absolutely, unequivocally the best IR missiles in the game.

ive been using the vautour 2n, its been an absolute shitshow to work with. every game is usually an uptier to 10.0 and bases get stolen by the harriers and su7s that catch up. a10s and su25s magnet to it because its a jet bomber and its very weak in defense. the only thing i can do at all is to bomb a base and try and get a headon kill with my AA20s. the milan was not out at the time i purchased the vautour unfortunately. however, the milan is still a struggle bus france really does suffer. no idea why i even grinded it.

over the milan yes but its not worth full price, its missiles are very unreliable and it is not manoeuvrable enough compared to what its faces.

While the Milan is decent, it's no F-5C or A-5C. So an even more decent premium is appreciated.

This isn't a bad premium. It's pretty damn good. The 530 supers are okay, and right now the Magic 2's are absolutely, unequivocally the best IR missiles in the game.
@@PotatoeJoe69 what I don’t like about the Magic 2 is that they need 2 seconds before they start tracking, that’s really annoying especially since this missile is designed for dogfighting
@@Austrium1483 so what if you’re firing the magic 2 in that 2 second delay area then you’re too close to be using the F1C effectively slashing attacks are the best to use for it

Maybe they will fix that some time because In DCS that’s not how it works
ive been using the vautour 2n, its been an absolute shitshow to work with. every game is usually an uptier to 10.0 and bases get stolen by the harriers and su7s that catch up. a10s and su25s magnet to it because its a jet bomber and its very weak in defense. the only thing i can do at all is to bomb a base and try and get a headon kill with my AA20s.
the milan was not out at the time i purchased the vautour unfortunately. however, the milan is still a struggle bus
france really does suffer. no idea why i even grinded it.
this plane has a very bad radar and doesn't gain radar lock easily and is very easy to lose radar lock.
