i actually really enjoy talking about video editing and have been wanting to do this video for so long now so : here it is! when i first started my channel, i had no idea how to even make a video and i remember watching so many videos like this one to learn so i REALY hope this was helpful. when i tell you i had to cut out so much but still wanted to give a lot of information...ugh. like i genuinely hope that this maybe helped you a bit and please let me know if you have ANY questions, i'd love to be your video editing guide haha. also, i just bought a new laptop and i'm going to be using a new software so expect another video like this in a few months haha.

Best video on this subject I've watched so far. I love that you addressed the issues of needing to entice yourself to get into the editing space, eliminate distractions, but also ensure that you moved around. I can vouch for the drink-enough-water-to-force-you-to-get-up-to-pee method. Also great note at the end about finding your editing voice.
So helpful even months later, I'm restarting youtube and this was so encouraging. Thank you!

So I’m using hitfilm and like you said it is super laggy while I’m editing. Will it lag in the final video after I export too? I’m ok with it lagging while editing but don’t want my final vidoe to be all laggy
