The fact that there is a ‘Highway to Hell’ but only a ‘Stairway to Heaven’ should be a good indication of the expected traffic flow
DukeOfChirk 😇
Haha
Ahh, but apparently there are only three steps to heaven!
The fact that this comment is so unoriginal says alot about you
LUL I can't stop loving them both anyway! (Somewhere down the line Pink Floyd and Queen would come up to remember us that is all just about Humans) XD
You have an open mind and it sets a great example for music consumers worldwide my dude
Hey Joey! Nice seeing you here :D
I've watched tons of these and his reactions are awesome. He's like a kid In a candy store! Love his passion for music, love his love of music and his love of life.
I swear acdc got so lucky to find Brian after bon died Brian kept that same energy and sound that people loved
Bon was married to my auntie, Bon always wanted Brian to be the next after he does
RIP Bon Scott
I just started listening to them, that's seriously unbelievable. That's a one in a billion kinda thing, Brian didn't skip a beat.
Angus isn't replaceable though.
OMG...this guy is better than watching SNL! He's hilarious!!!
😂😂😂😂
Coach is real. :) I mean he has Man Bun and Jarule living in his toilet 🤣🤣
lol SNL... you're such a boomer
Pure entertainment
And you think SNL is funny?....damn.

Seriously, you NEED to listen to Fat Bottom Girls by Queen.
Awesome sauce.
He is probably not as gay as you
@1 2 uhm did Brian May write that one?
Deep Purple’s SMOKE ON THE WATER is a MUST ! One of the greatest guitar riffs as well as all time great song !
Highway Star also very good!
I love this guy, what a big personality, always puts me in a good mood, keep on rocking shaq
I agree,I love his reviews and comments&watching him bop away to the music enjoying it...love im.....
He’s awesome just love his reviews
Did you notice this is Bon Scott? and not Brian Johnson. Just thought I'd point that it out as both of your other reactions was Brian Johnson singing lead.
Bon Scott is the original lead singer of ACDC till he died from alcholism.
Then Brian Johnson became lead singer with the Back in Black Album.
I think that the addition of Brian Johnson very soon after the death of Bon is probably ome of the great stories in music history. The band added Brian and realeased Back in Black, and it is one of the greatest rock albums ever made.
@@matthewnewberry4336 yeah i aggree, couldn't think of a better person to step in, they're both Legends regardless and both have unique voices.
Janaya Charles yes!! Most of the ultimate Bon Scott fanboys are not a fan of Brian and keep saying that Bon’s way better even though they are very different vocalists and very good in their own ways. I love those two singers equally
bon is not the original singer, he is their second singer... 😉
@@mikemills69 bon was not their first singer....high voltage was not their first album. do some better research.
You are so entertaining. I just found you and love these. Keep em coming. So fun. He says it calmly like it's a good thing because it's the rebellion of rock and roll. It's part of the metal attitude.
“das.. das not the promise land” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Always love your rock/metal reactions bro, you're hilarious.
Jimzy - Yes, it is always good to see someone listening listening to enjoying actual good music that is performed by actual musicians. Rappers are not musicians. If you can not play a musical instrument, understand theory or actually sing in key, you are not a musician. Rappers are not musicians. If they can not do even the most basic things involving music, how can you consider them to be musicians?
@@michaelr.4878 You are not a musician either if you think rapping is not musical. Rappers still need to know about staying in time and wordplay. Also if you don't have control over your vocal chords. All that other shit you mentioned like theory is all guitar nerd shit. Most great players don't know shit about theory or read sheet music, ONLY THE GEEKY ASS DOUCHEBAGS LIKE MICHEAL ANGELO BATIO, who doesnt even make good music, he just tries to make classical pieces edgy. you need to gtfo here with that because there are many bands that play instrumnets that don't know how to play. (pretty much any punk song can be remade by ANYONE picking up a guitar) you can't make a good rap on your first try without sounding like a pussy ass suburban dad trying to sound cool to his teenage kids.
Scratching which is also a part of rap/hip-hop which is actually a lot harder to play than any blues or punk riffs. I can play drums and guitar but I have a hard time learning how to scratch because it isn't actually as easy as you think. I have also been a hip-hop fan before I got into rock/metal and still can't rap or scratch but I can play drums and guitar no problem. almost as if it is easier or something. Also, vocal chords aren't instruments but singing is still considered musical...... so your logic is pretty flawed.
@@michaelr.4878 By saying this I know for a fact you are some fat or crackhead skinny kid sitting in his Grandmas wheelchair that probably buys instruments just to say you can play but when it comes down to it all you know how to play is Seven nation army.
The title of the song Highway To Hell is just a metaphor. "Highway to Hell" was the nickname for the Canning Highway in Australia. It runs from where lead singer Bon Scott lived in Fremantle and ends at a pub/bar called The Raffles, which was a big rock 'n roll drinking
hole in the '70s. As Canning Highway gets close to the pub, it dips down
into a steep decline: "No stop signs... speed limits... nobody gonna
slow me down." Lots of people killed on that highway.
That’s damn interesting. Thanks. It’s cool to know little tid bits like that.
It's definitely written about Canning Hwy in Perth...they closed the whole highway down for the 30th anniversay of Bon Scott's death...people came from all over the world...
Yep! This is Bon Scott! He hand picked Brian...to succeed him if someone needed to step in as vocalist..
Didn't know this and I live in Perth. Thanks
Love hearing stories behind the songs I love. Thanks!
Saw them in concert 1980. It was one of the best❣
"Hold up! I gotta get my tiger. I been practicing!" 😂😂

Civil War for the win.

The old folks used to say "you listen to that hard rock music and you're on the highway to Hell."
These dudes are just saying, "if you say so and we'll have a great time at it, too." LOL
JuJuB eee it's actually about a bar in Australia on a road nicknamed the highway to hell hes singing about goin to party with his friends
@@mitchellheld4033 Cool! Thanks for the background.
When I was young it was often used against anyone Bible-thumping.
Rock has always been said is the devil's music, so by the time hard rock came around we start to embrace it and rebel against the main stream, I love it
AC/DC was my favorite band growing up. It was before my time but my parents listened to classic rock like this all the time. Awesome to see someone expand their musical horizons without judgement
Watching this 2 yrs after you posted and I been to 5 a.c./dc concerts in my day best experience ever!!
You gotta react to Big Balls & Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC.
I love big balls. No one ever brings it up.
Dirty Deeds!!!!!

"Look at the leg, I see the leg" 😂😂😂
My favorite song by Bon Scott. After Bon Scott died Brian Johnson came as a lead singer of ACDC. Both are great singer though,I love both of them. You can see the statue of Bon Scott in Sydney. Who else is ACDC fan? Like here
👇
Im a very huge fan. I did not know that Bon"s statue was in Sidney.
I never been to Sydney but I'm huge fan of AC/DC that's Why I know about the statue .By the way I'm from India(Diphu,Northeast India).
There’s also a statue of him in his hometown of Kirriemuir here in Scotland 🤘🏻
Bon Scot actually saw Brian Johnson singing for his own band and told the rest of acdc that if anything happened to him that they need to get Brian to take his place.
there's a statue of him in Fremantle, Western Australia, near the markets & he's buried in Fremantle cemetery.
No stop signs 🛑
*Kid in the background* YAY!
Right! 😂🤣
Love that too, and kiddie rug looks like an actual highway to hell!
You crack me up! Thank you for being you!!!
“Bruh, why is he lookin at me like dat!?!?!” Bahahahaha 🤣😂💕
The rock/metal reactions are the whole reason I come to your channel, man!
In case you didn't already know as well, that was the original lead singer of AC/DC (Bon Scott). He died in 1980, and the band then got Brian Johnson (who you've heard with songs you've reacted) as a replacement and did Back in Black as their tribute to Bon.
Well, Dave Evans was the original singer, but he don't count cuz he's not on any of the albums.
@@randywissler9923 the band thought he was too gay so they dropped him 😂😂
Hells Bells Yes
@@randywissler9923 could have my lines crossed but didn't they can him bc off his partying (like Bon Scott had his drinking under control?) Then picked Bon to sing and he was the janitor.
@@rogerbraswelljr.923 they thought he was too much a Gary Glitter type front man, a pretty boy type. And they wanted something rawer, both vocally and presence wise. Bon was their driver. But he had been in a semi famous band in Australia before that. It was a band called Fraternity. Kind of a pop/folky kinda thing. Not too bad, but not AC-DC!!
Shaq. Man, I had some hard times, I had some stuff to go through, cost me a lot of my memory. I listen to some of these songs and it brings something back, I can feel it and I remember the feeling. Seeing you respond to the rock I grew up on, that I'm relearning, makes me feel like we're going through the same expert. Sending you love man. You keep making, and I'll keep watching.

*Shaq lmao man you crack me up, you sir are now a Metalhead*
Always bringing it!
Highway to hell is a reference to being on the road traveling in a band going from town to town, city to city, state to state, and eventually for them country to country. The excesses of being on the road can be hellish. Especially when you all share a room together in the beginnings of the band and the drummers stinky feet are next to your pillow during the night.
Hence, 'on a highway to hell'.
LMAO at the perfectly timed “ YAAAAY “ in the background. I burst out laughing.
Do "She shook me all Night long" by AC/DC. Keep up the great work Shaq.

"WAit Hold on... That aint the promise land..."🤣🤣🤣 Hell yea Shaq I'm finna get you some more sucribers once i show my friends lol
Highway to Hell...in general, is about living in the fast lane.
Greg Markel ALL of AC/DC songs are about living hard .......... just saying
Well maybe in a sense but it's really about a stretch of highway in Australia. It would come into a small town that had no stop signs are speed limits and when you would come up over a rise there was a fatality wrecks there all the time and it was nicknamed The Highway to Hell
@@walker2980 A song can mean different things to different people and it always means something else to the person who wrote the song. And no fan ever knows exactly what the song means to the writer unless he explains it himself. Which was done by AC/DC back in the day, they explained that the song was about constantly being on tour.
I´m alwys amused by fans of bands who think they actually know what the meaning of a song is lol Stop doing this, you just look foolish. Only the songwriter knwos what the meaning is, and they seldom say. AC/DC explained in an interview a long time ago that Highway to Hell was about constantly being on tour.
@@JohnJohn-qv4mg
Oh really now...ok. well a song can mean different things to different people that's for sure but literally this is what this song was wrote about so you need to do your research bud
Highway to Hell was the nickname for the Canning Highway in Australia. It runs from where lead singer Bon Scott lived in Fremantle and ends at a pub/bar called The Raffles, which was a big rock 'n roll drinking hole in the '70s. As Canning Highway gets close to the pub, it dips down into a steep decline: "No stop signs... speed limits... nobody gonna slow me down."
So many people where killed by driving fast over that intersection at the top of the hill on the way for a good night out, that it was called the highway to hell, so when Bon was saying "I'm on the highway to hell" it meant that he was doing the nightly or weekly pilgrimage down Canning Highway to The Raffles bar to rock and drink with his mates during touring: "Ain't nothing I would rather do. Going down, party time, my friends are gonna be there too."
and by the way if you had any brains about this at all you would know that Bon Scott wrote 90% of lyrics on every album and he even explained what the song was about. Hell even Malcolm has said the same thing in interviews. Maybe you need to join the Bon Scott Forum on Facebook of which I am a founding member of and get you an education and ACDC history in the man himself
Love the metal look NLS!! Keep on rockin'!
Damn love ya bro... Shaq ain't going to hell .. classic!
Your hair nice g

when I backpacked around the world in the early 90's we only had walkmans for portable music, choosing which tapes to take was hard, as an aussie boy who loves his hard rock an acdc compilation tape was in the chosen set - I used to listen to this track on every flight I caught trying to time the drums kicking in with lift off!
Shaq you the man keep on rockin. Thumbs up always
Hey man, I thought "Lost in Vegas" reactions were good but damn. You got the charisma goin full tilt and now my sub. Keep it up my man!
The best AC/DC days. Bon Scott was the best singer in my opinion. Listen to 'dirty deeds' you'll love it!
What every ACDC fan doesn't want to hear:
Brian Johnson and Bon Scott sound the fucking same. Nobody cares which era you thought was the best.
@@pockit5107 true as fuck. Not to mention that Brian has probably outsold Bon 100 albums to 1 at this point
Bon will always be the favorite.
@@joshuajones8703 how do you know have you asked every single acdc fan in the world.
Nearly all of the most popular songs were made with Scott. Brian have been with AC for like 40 years, so he have been the vocal almost all the time and worked fine, but have less clean voice than Scott. Before Bon Scott, Dave Evans singed in AC/DC.
