Just crashed out and lost my pasanger door. Might be able to save her after watching this if the shop is able to bend the body back int place under the door
How do you do remove the wire harness on the drivers side? I suspect a broken wire for my passenger side power window in the drivers side bellows and was told to unplug the two clips behind the kick panel. Such a pain they seem to be right behind the gem module and all of its wiring bs. Is there an easier way to inspect wiring without totally destroying the bellows
Be very careful taking panels and bumpers off. There are plenty of factory shims that will fall out, so be sure to document them and put them back if possible. Just a tip.
I just learned how to shim a new edge mustang door. The drivers side door on my Bullitt has been driving me crazy. I've done everything but shim it. Looks like I have a fix! Mine isn't that terrible that the door closes sloppy, it just droops... the body line is showing its age from all the years of use. Thank you for Sharing!
With those wheels(which you hardly see anymore), you should consider doing a 35th anniversary clone, I use to dig how they looked when new. I believe the centers of the wheels were painted argent and there was a honeycomb panel on the rear deck lid with a matte black stripe on the hood scoop to grille area.
Hi Danny, wonderful video on the fender removal and door alignment. Your video on the fuel pump installation helped me replace my fuel pump last fall on my 2003 mustang. My question is what size washers did you use for shims and are they metric or sae? They looked like wider ones. I was also wondering did you put them on the upper bolt of the lower hinge assembly or the lower bolt and did you use washers on both bolts? I was thinking you wouldn’t want to have a gap between the door and the hinge plate on one bolt. I have some sagging on my driver door and it bangs when shutting. Can I also remove the bolts without removing the fender by opening the door and bracing it? It looks like a lot easier access the way you did it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin.

No, it’s called the quartet panel and it’s welded on. I once had a car that was in an accident and in order to fix it they had to order a whole new quarter fender piece and cut the old one off and weld them back together
