I think at that price it's probably a good idea to grade it.. can't really lose ..and it should be easier to sell after the grade comes back..
That's what I was thinking. Grade it, sell it, and then get something else.
Thanks for the video. Like others you sometimes show the coin to camera for a very short time - as you did with the PF70. Please allow the viewer to take in the coin, both the obverse and reverse.

Nice pickup. I have a run of proof sovereigns from 1979 to 1999, with 1988, 89, 92, 93 and 95 missing. They were all bought at various times from a local coin shop for spot +2%. The supply seems to have dried up. The prices varied from CDN$139 to $655. The spot value today is CDN$640.

@@the_islandstacker I recently added the 1987 3-coin proof sovereign set. This contains my only double sovereign. I did purchase a proof 1985 quintuple sovereign many years ago and it is also my only one of that denomination.

the coin seems to be in the wrong way as the G&D are not front facing but yer its worth a punt
I did find it out that the coin was the wrong way round, maybe from the auction house inspection?
Then definitely worth sending for grading and for me 69 without ncs conservation with conservation chance of a 70
