When I got my code its not really a code. They just activate your account. and from the time you get the "key" it takes untill the next day. So none can give it to you. unless its a dev or streamer with actual keys I guess.

The biggest complaint I've had in the beta is for the love of god change idle noise at least a bit. Sounding like a gamer typing slurs on a mechanical keyboard when I move is very annoying.

IMO the map that shows your position as well as where the extracts and objectives is the biggest quality of life change this game has that tarkov would benefit from. As a casual player, I find it breaks the immersion when playing tarkov when I have to constantly go to my second screen to try to find my position and think im at one area, only to find out im not there and then 30 minutes of gameplay is wasted because I couldnt find an extract.

I think it's good that there is finallky a game that giv es those qol things some ppl want and tarkov can stay as it is because I truly enjoy tarkov for what it is and would never want ui compass, friendly nameplates, quickswitch items when switcheing bag or interactive map.
For me I would be happiest with some middle ground. Have in game, in raid map, mark objectives, but don't have a compas as a hud, maybe have it as an item and don't show your position on the map. Right now its just go to A, straight line to B etc.

It’s closed beta. There was a sign up going for a while but it ended. They also just some twitch drops for beta codes so keep an eye out in case they do it again

Says weapons feel bad, proceeds to full spray with ak from 70m and gets annoyed that he misses the target....
after a couple bullets, an ak should be able to full send straight down sight. thats how it is irl. high initial kick, then you use your arms to keep her straight, and the weight of the gun/your own strength keeps it leveled. its a big reason people hated tarkov recoil. 70m isnt that far at all for a full auto. the ak has a decent MOA, at 100m the bullet spread is small enough that at 70m atleast 1 (more likely a few) should hit the head/face.
@@dogsbecute depends on the skill of the operator. Almost nobody will spray a target 70m afar in full auto expecting to hit a vital, look up interviews with special forces (mostly westerners to be fair) and demonstrations from guntubers, full auto off the shoulder is not the way your average operator engages targets more than 20m away, and even then a lot of SF will say "just put a single bullet between their eyes".
From every video I've seen the guns randomly dip down mid spray which is completely illogical. There is muzzle climb that you control, horizontal movement that you account for, but not random downwards jerks mid climb.

Nah I registered about two weeks ahead and got in; game looked too cool to pass up. Keep yours eyes peeled TN, they're doing beta key drops make sure to get in and watch a steam right away with the twitch drops again

No it's not. This is 100% a great game for lower skilled casual players. For real it is good for everyone but people who do not like the Sweat Fest like in EFT, they will jive with ABI more for sure. I definitely prefer EFT still, but ABI looks like a fun alternative if done correctly for days you don't want to dedicate so much time and attention to EFT and just relax a little bit more in ABI.

I have no real horse in the race as I don't play either game, but the sheer amount of things that have been copied from tarkov almost beat for beat and changed ever so slightly is extremely offputting. Like man even the sound of looting a box at 16:17 is ripped straight from tarkov, it's the exact same sound. So while people are mad at BSG and it's justified, this tencent game is very clearly copying homework. Again I have no real investment either way but it's scummy to see plagiarism wherever it appears.

As some people have commented vague, bad-faith accusations that I have an investment in one game or another, or told me I'm wrong about things I didn't even say, consider that you don't have to support one thing to point out foul play in another.
I didn't mention gunsounds sounding similar as some people have claimed, I mentioned the crate searching noise as timestamped. It is not similar, similar is completely fine, no, it's the exact same noise that tarkov used. Either ripped straight from tarkov or from whatever third party BSG got it from.
The exact same sound from the game you're imitating used in the exact same way? On top of the multitude of other near-identical gameplay features? It's kinda obvious.
The people who have been commenting that this game didn't copy tarkov so far have missed the point, or are for some reason or another (maybe your own horse in the race) bending over backwards to not address the excessive amount of similarities.
Inventories have been done before in games, looting has been done before in games, shooting has been done before in games. That doesn't mean every game that comes after copies the previous ones that did the same thing.
But in this case, far too much is almost, or straight up identical to tarkov.
Nearly all of the environmental interactions, player interactions and loot interactions have the exact same speed and format to tarkov, the box opening animation is literally the same but with a janky leftward jerk just to seem different, the door opening animation is identical, you have a leg and arm stamina system which I've seen no other game do so far than tarkov, identical stash even down to the location on-screen, identical search and linked search system, basically identical inspect windows (1:1 including the position in window of armour class, weight, item preview, attachments, protection areas, material, ricochet chance and information text), the same sharpening filter tarkov used when you use painkillers, same secure container system, same pockets with the same amount of slots, identical weapon inventory layout even positioned in the exact same place on screen as tarkov (sling, back, pistol melee, just with different names), identical dogtag system, the same searching item system, the same search speed, the same UI even down to the diagonal lines for unsearched items. The same sounds for some loot containers, same items sometimes with near identical icons and descriptions (pliers, bolts, tape, even being blue with the same tab on it, plexiglass, etc), attachments, armour, same ammo available, etc. you get the idea. That's just SOME examples, there are many, many more.
You can have similar systems, UI and items, and improving on them is great but this game has copy/pasted a huge amount of the formatting and menu systems (not literally the code). It would be so easy to make literally any of the above distinct from Tarkov but they didn't bother.
How about Gray Zone as an example? It's often called a tarkov-like, but they've used a very different system than tarkov for the map, raid mechanics, infil/exfil mechanics, optics, PvP incentive, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's good that there's competition in the genre which may spur BSG and the developers of gray zone to improve their games.
But this game and the mobile version before it has clearly been developed by looking at tarkov, copying it, sometimes 1:1 and then adding QoL features and just enough of a different coat of paint to seem distinct.
That's my criticism, and it's pretty plain to see if the cope goggles are taken off. Of course it looks fun, especially for free, and the QoL features genuinely are fantastic but that doesn't distract from the fact that Tencent is a horrible conglomerate and Chinese companies (and those they hold majority stake over like level infinite) are known for their less than scrupulous behaviour regarding plagiarism so none of this is surprising.

I think Pestily would go back to Tarkov once it is clear that the whales all buy their t6 gear with real money and run in big teams with thermals and smokes. The nonsense that goes on in the mobile version is just ludicrous. All for a rank at the end of a season. I play the mobile version and enjoy it, but I can’t see him agreeing with that dynamic in an extraction shooter.

You cannot buy T6 gear with real money because there are no T6 bundles and the money you can buy is not that much and has a daily limit, obviously not enough to buy a thermal, getting money is really easy in this game that if they need to buy gear they just probably sucks

I've been playing this game on mobile since the beta and don't know what you are talking about, I am a f2p player, never spent a dime on games but even I could get to t6 and thermals playing the game on mobile at 20fps average on a crappy phone, players get better at every season but even then, people are averaging t4 to t5 armor in lockdown raids cause even if you're rich, get outplayed once and your loot is gone, especially hurts when you have t6 and thermals.
how bad are you? you could get 1mil in 2 weeks the slowest full t6 is more than affordable as a f2p I don't even use a secure container, whaling doesn't mean shit if your game sense is bad
