Dude, if you're looking to buy a new Seiko, check out the Seiko SPB143 , re release/re interpretation of Seiko's first dive watch from 1965, the 62MAS. Its one I believe you need in the collection.

Seiko is a fully integrated watch manufacturer. The quality is very good to excellent depending on the price range. And I think Seiko is going to get better. Japanese is very serious about its craftsmanship.
I am fan of Seiko too, I think they are great value for money. You do not feel like you spend half of the price just for brand marketing (like on Rolex etc.).

Took one of your followers advice and bought a Tissot Chrono Xl Men's Blue Dial Bracelet Watch, my go to weekend watch now love it. A few bob for me but didn't break the bank £320 / $420 worth every penny. It was a hard choice between Tissot,Seiko or Bulova so it's saving up time again. Does Ivan ship to the UK,half tempted with that '60s remake, theSEIKO SSA423 PRESAGE that looked classy as hell.

Seikos often criticized for their bracelet quality, so not have as nice a bracelet as a Rolex, which are often praised for how good they are. This is not a knock on either as they cost vastly different amounts of money.

First of all, keep up the good vids. I enjoy watching your content and you are one of a few channels I subscribe too. I like how you show everyone that you should buy a watch for your own enjoyment and not to satisfy everyone else. Just one thing for me as my opinion to improve these videos. Try not to compare everything to Rolex or other luxury brands. A watch doesn't have to be compared Rolex in order to justify it being a good watch or worth buying. Seiko as with many other brands are brilliant because they are their own brand. It doesn't try to be a Rolex so I don't feel like it needs to be compared to them. I would just enjoy the content a lot more if Rolex wasn't brought into each conversation that's all. But hey do you at the end of the day. 😀

Adam you don't to reference the Daytona for what type of watch the speed timer is. Its a chronograph plain and simple almost ever watch brand makes at least one chronograph usually a few different models of chronograph. Also if you're going to use the Daytona for a reference just use the zenith el primero because Rolex wasn't capable of making their own chronograph movement so for decades they bought the Daytona's movement off zenith. Sorry if you didn't know that I know alot of people think they're the best of the best but in reality they're just middle of the road watches but out of this world with marketing. They were able to convince everyone there nothing better then a Rolex . I own 3 so I can talk first hand they really are not worth the money especially grey market prices
Nothing against Seiko. I own my fathers 6139-6001 and I still have my first dive watch which was an SKX-173. That being said, unless we're talking Grand Seiko, they're not Rolex quality. I think the more important debate for someone who's in the market for any watch is the cost of not saving up and getting what you actually want. How many folks out there have bought tons of low to mid tier watches because they were affordable at the time and could have saved that money to buy what they really wanted?

I bought myself a Seiko Premier Automatic (SSA369J1 to be specific) with my very first new year bonus from my first full time job in 2017. I still rock this watch weekly and always has been a conversation piece. You don't need an uber expensive watch to join the game, just choose what you think suits you best! 😇🙌
Surprised he didn't have the new Presage GMT. It's like Grand Seiko GMT styling with a true GMT movement at a quarter of the Grand Seiko price. The MIDO Ocean Star GMT is another true GMT for a similar price.

I found a late 90’s Seiko perpetual calendar at a thrift store for $14 and it’s a great daily rotation driver.

I thought the bezel on the solar chrono wasn’t ceramic, I heard it is a black stainless. It’s a great looking watch tho.

Seiko are great, I picked up the Astron 2022 model and it's stunning. A tad expensive but so good.
