One thing I discovered from using Snake-Eyes as an engine in various decks is that ANY build works. So many people on ladder are so paranoid of it right now that they'll Ash the Wanted before even considering you might be running 3 Witch and opened 2 of them and a side engine to work with. And then have nothing to stop said side Engine whether it's Runick Fountain, Branded/Shaddoll Fusion, Engage, Eldlixers or even just NORMAL SUMMON ASH(either one, remember Witch + Blos = Baronne).
Well ashing wanted is not being paranoid. It is being completely unaware lol.
And yeah I believe the engine has a lot of potential when mixed with other archetypes but that's because every deck would love going insane with SE Ash and then doing their thing as a cherry on top.
But frankly as long as SE would stay full power I don't foresee much of a reason for not focusing on pure.
Maybe once we get some serious hit the real fun may start.
Just run Kash Unicorn and hit the link-1 or IP.(going first). Most players only play 1 copy of each, and it keeps snake eyes off most of their big plays. Without IP, they can't gain nearly as much advantage and have to go into Baron with formula syncron.
Going second is a bit more rough. Generally, I just don't interact with their plays. Wait till they Flamb for IP and Imperm or Effect vailer. Call By the Princess. Ash blossom isn't great, but dimensional shifter... MY BROTHER. Dimensional shifter ends snake-eyes on the spot. (Which you can run at no penalty w/ 3 unicorn 1 feny).
If you open snake eyes with D. Shifter and no Kash.
You can still end on your own Barron (with an ashblossom/lvl3Tuner) or any lvl 8 syncro, assuming you have one of the searches for Dbell
Why would you ash the wanted. You should wait to ash ash or the spell because that’s the where the plussing really starts

That's because Master Duel players are really, really bad.
I usually run Kash Unicorn and Called By to deal with snake eyes. Just hit there link 1 with unicorn and banish the ash on sinful spoils with Kash Birth. You can also just hold untill I P hits the GY and then call by. Most players only run one IP and if they waste a hand trap on the unicore you can shift to engine and play without worring about hand traps.
In the second duel how Fenrir activates his banish effect again after switching control? Does he already use the effect on Black Witch?
The restriction on activating once per turn is on the PLAYER not the CARD. So a new player has control of Fenrir and hasn't activated the affect yet. Therfore they can activate it even though the opponent has already.
Baronne de Fleur on the other hand is a once per card therefore if you take control of a baronne that has used its negate you dont get to use it.

after watching the entire runick snake-eye segment i still dont know what the gameplan with the runicks is. like is it just bodys+draw power or am i just not seeing the synergy?
To me it's a cool approach to SE.
Especially in MD, SE struggles a lot being hand trapped to death or getting Maxx C'd.
Runick cards provide resilience if your combo get stopped abruptly while generating advantage instead of trading one for one as if you go full hand traps.
Also yeah.. Bodies are never bad if you play SE.
Deck is great going first but going second it may struggle unless you draw really well.

He’s using Runick as non engine cards, so instead of hand traps or board breakers, he just stuffs a bunch of Runick in
yeah man its lit just draw you draw 2 different runick spells boom you draw 2 stuff like that
What was the thought process behind ashing snake eye ash ns effect?
It’s more of a risky negate to stop poplar from being added to hand which also stops the special summon of poplar and effect of poplar when summoned. Now the reason why it’s risky is bc the opponent may have diabelstar, one for one, sinful spoiled, field spell, birch, etc. ofc he could just wait and ash sinful spoils or maybe the activated effect of snake eyes ash to special summon from deck. However that would mean opponent may have field spell or sinful spoils already that would mean more follow up anyways. So either way ash blossom was just useless here.

Aww master duel has to many ban worthy cards to play , feels sometimes too unbalanced , they should make a TCG banlist option.
