- Only My Railgun, from A Certain Scientific Railgun,, music by Satoshi Yaginuma, piano arranged by @Animenzzz, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST.
This is a very fast-paced piece that's supposed to be a RH torture for small hands. I first learned the transcribed version based on Animenz's performance. In the official version he reduced some of the RH chords to be small-hand-friendly. For the sake of my piano lesson videos I decided to go with the official version. Only My Railgun is the perfect example of why you want to do jumps with lots of black keys. As is, the piece is already not easy due to the fast tempo; but I can't imagine this being playable in any other key.

As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.

I played the original. But couldn’t quite get it to recording level (accuracy). I might record that one day. 10th anniversary is slightly easier. One day. Haha.

I think there is tos against video bare feet, maybe wear sock or shoe, but well played
Might be too cocky to say this, but too many pianists with socks/shoes don’t play as well.
