This captured for me one of the things that struck me when I visited.. In the centre of a town I did not hear traffic noise; just the low buzz of people's conversation. Plus, if youths got a llittle too boisterous,Spanish men would go and speak with the ringleader and the youths behaved themselves. So civilised.
Some places are quite steep, but there are ways to transport a wheelchair or if the person uses a walking stick as I do they should be fine. we love it and are going back again for a month from 31st Dec 2016.
John Smith Thank-you ! Yes , the girlfriend is very important - ha ha !!! I haven't been there yet , but , still making plans to go to Tenerife. Money is the only issue for me.
We came back from here yesterday and had a brilliant time, couldn't fault anything, would strongly recommend to family and friends.

Yes, the sea is very cold and rough but clean. It's a lovely place to go with a girlfriend though.
