I kinda wanted him to turn into the original Bailey when Ethan was young

Me too pal mee too
Me too
Personally, I understand why. That form was the wise Bailey, one who knew his purpose, and fulfilled it. Young Bailey was a former life. He never really mentally grew up past this Bailey. And neither did Ethan.

The hardest thing about owning a dog, is having to say goodbye when you just want more time with them. I didn’t always take care of my dog Scout, a golden retriever, but I know I love him with all my heart, he’s my best friends. That’s what a dog is, a best friend. Though we have many of them throughout our lives, each and every one holds the purpose our greatest friends. Hold your dog close to you, and talk to them, tell them how you’ll always be together. Though I’m only 19, I realize now just how short life really is, and I cannot be certain that what’s on the other side will be what I hope it is, I know that without a doubt, we all see our best friends again, some sunny day.
Dude, that hit hard...
This September was when I had to let my Rat Terrier go.
I'm 15 and my dog Rottweiler Zoey died a about before my birthday and no matter what their would be no dog like Zoey. And I remember what I said when was about to be taken and I would never see her again, "I will play with you when I die" having in my arms didn't mean saying goodbye just a new begging for her and me. I love you Zoey.
My dog Luna my dog right now she is the best she hasn't died she's a puppy from the shelter so I would be sad but I'm only 8 years old so yeah but imma about to be 9 so she's a good dog I will never let her go I had a dog from the same shelter and his name was Alpha and I had to take him Back hopefully he gets a family R.I.P. alpha he was a good dog 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔he will always be in my ❤ I had a lizard named Oscar and some others lizards I found him in my backyard I let him free in my backyard I also had a pet shark idk if it was a shark or a fish but his name was sharknado I miss him he died cause when I moved to a house my dad forgot the things to help them live but he died I had a snake I also found in my back yard but I let him go I didn't name him but now I will hmmm...oh his name is now snakey well that'd all my pets but my brothers had more pets
I'm reading this while my tiny dog Pancho is climbing up my back like I'm Mount Everest
Part of me wanted to see OG Bailey in heaven, but then I just kept thinking that "Buddy" Bailey was actually the best fit. Because "Buddy" was Baily's journey to get back to Ethan. The only way for Baily to get back to Ethan was to have a journey that turned him into "Buddy." Then at the same time it took "Buddy" to get Ethan his happiness back after so many years. The "Buddy" version of Baily represented the shift in a better life for both of them as things came full circle.
This is a nice perspective. I think seeing OG Bailey meet teenage Ethan in heaven would have been an incredibly emotional visual, but I can accept "Buddy" meeting with older Ethan. I wish they had included the corgi Tino, and the german Shepard during the montage showing the different lives of Baily.
This is Bailey's victory
IT IS INDEED A GREAT PERSPECTIVE. If there was no Big Dog, Ethan would not be happy again
The representation of the rainbow bridge is absolutely beautiful.
Yeah...That hit me hard
Ive never cried to a movie before, but after seeing that bridge I teared right up
I don’t get it?

Great movie, and incredibly sad.
I lost my dog today. I took him to the vet with my dad and my sister and stayed with him the entire time, reminding him that he was my best friend and that he was the goodest boy ever. I’m grateful that he went without pain or fear, even if I’m devastated that he’s gone. I’m 18 and I’ve had him since I was a little girl- he was always there when I needed him. Tonight is the first night I have in memory that he hasn’t been here to sleep at the end of my bed, as even when he got too old and tired to jump up onto it he still slept on the floor beside it. I hope I get to see him again one day, however far away that day is. I’m just glad that now he can go on and run and play as much as his heart desires until I get there. You were a good dog, Murphy.
He will be there waiting for you. No rush to get there. He is playing with all the other pups and cats and animals and eating plenty of good treats. All dogs DO go to heaven.
Me too dude
You stayed with your dog during his final moments of life. Kind of like Marley & Me.
Dogs are very patient. Your Murphy will be waiting for you, just as my Pepper will be waiting for me. In the meantime, we’ve got lives to live.
He’s always with you, my friend. That bond transcends everything.

When I realized he was crossing the rainbow bridge I broke down.. my heart
This version of heaven is beautiful. It seems to me to be a dog's version of heaven. Wide open spaces to run and your favorite person waiting to greet you
I love how Ethan was waiting for Bailey " Boss Dog " in heaven
I lost my dog in February and the bond that I had with her I’ll never forget but without a doubt I know that the minute she took her last breath she ran across that bridge and is waiting for me to be reunited with her again
Bro I know how you feel!! I'm not married nor do I have kids. It's just me and my dogs who I consider my kids. I lost my 8 year old dachshund Buckee in September 2018 to renal failure at only 8 years old. Losing him hit me hard and I went through a level of grief I've never felt before. I had a physical pain in my chest for many months and struggled with daily life for quite a while.
I found a book on Facebook about dealing with the loss of a beloved pet that really helped me with my grief.
Re entirenation?
it took me 10 years to be ok with getting another. My dog died in 2011 from massive seizers. I was at work. My mom and grandpa found him and he died in my mom arms. I wasn't even there to say goodbye. to this day i really regret not being there. I just hope he remembered me and loved me. to this day im almost certain he remembers me, but i cant be sure because i wasn't there.
I JUST got a new dog last week, and here we are again.....its like the beginning of a relationship.....I care so much for him already. I know the next 10-14 years are going to be great. What im not looking forward too is when it all circles back around and ill have to be here again, in this sad space, grieving again. I just wish i had more than 14 years with him......untill that time comes i will make it the best i can make it
My husband and I don't have any children yet so our dogs where our babies , We had a Jack Russell her name was River she was 4 years old when she passed away in 2020 from a neurological disorder. Losing her hit us really hard , We choose to have her cremated so we could still keep her close. Then I lost my chihuahua Yasha she passed away in 2021 she was 15-16 years old , I had her since she was 6-7 weeks old. She passed away in my arms. We also had her cremated and placed with her sister. With both of our girls we where thankful we got to tell them how much we loved them and always would. We let them both know we would see them again one day and that this isn't goodbye.
Losing our girls just so close together like that really hurt us , We waiting a while before we actually came across our new girl. We didn't pick her and she just feel into our laps by chance , Its strange how some of her character reminds us of our River. She even crosses her paws when she sits just like River did. Rosa is now 1 year and 3 months spoiled like crazy and so full of love. ❤

I remeber watching this movie in theaters, crying after every death. But this one really got me. I had a dog named Max, and I grew up with him for 13 years. He was always with me, comforting me and sticking by my side, but he died in April of 2019. I cried my eyes out that day. When I saw the end of this movie I think I cried more than any time before. I sat until all credits were over, bawling my eyes out. Now I sit in my bed, watching this crying just as hard as I did when I first watched this movie...

My dog died in 2019 in my arms…I understand how hard that is
My dog passes away in her sleep in 2019. There is always going to be an empty spot in my heart to remember her.
My dog passed away December 30,2017 and his name was Max also. I got him as a puppy Christmas Day of 2006 when I was in 1st grade. Blessed to have him for 11 years. He passed away during my senior year of high school. I know that truly heartache feeling of losing a beloved dog. I can relate to your pain you felt. That day he passed away I felt a part of myself died that day too and went with him
My Max stayed with me for 11 yrs and 3 months.. last dec 6 2020 he was back to our creator.. that 11 yrs and 3 months Max gave me a full of joy and happiness. i believe one day we gonna see each other.. no more pain no more sick.. just having fun all day with god..

I normally don’t cry at movies, but this movie got to me. It’s so painfully beautiful. Even my dad cried!
Not going to lie but this made me cry more than a Dog’s Purpose.. and the music. Broke me so hard every time I listened to it made me cry..
This movie is the reason why I still believe in an afterlife where you get to see your whole family again
Im a 30yo man and I never cried because of a movie before, before...
Made me think of all the great dogs I had into my life, so good ones , from my first one who would walk by my side to protect me when I was a toddler who escaped and went to the roof to my last one, who passed away last year...

Bailey stayed alive until the very end and now they can play forever
I Rember when I was 4 and was on vacation my dog got sick and my mom and I drove home I was in the room when she died as my mom and I pet her I watched her go sleep for last time. Every day for a year I kiss the wall were I had photos of her.i loved her soo much and I didn’t really understand death that much I knew she wasn’t coming back. I had digs my whole life (11 years) and she was special to me. She let me put my princess’s dress on her and paint her nails, I drove around with her in my Barbie doom buggy. I loved her.
Thats made me cry 😭😭

Death is supposed to be eternal paradise and peace

April 20, 2020----Think it was Will Rogers who said that when he dies, he wants to go where dogs go. Good enough for me.
Will Rogers said "If there are no dogs in heaven then I want to go where they go". Me to.
I'll always remember watching part 1. My husband and i went to the theater when it came out and there was a lady and her daughter next to us (it was their second time seeing it) who offered us some tissues before it even started. We told her no thank you and that we thought we would be OK. Not even 5 minutes in and we were a bunch of sobbing babies then she just slid those tissues right over. I swear every 5 minutes we were crying. So this second one we were better prepared. 😭

We get a few of them in our lives, but they get one of us. Dogs are the best things in life.
May all the reunions at rainbow bridge be as wonderful as Bailey and Ethan.
I could never bring myself to watch either of these movies in their entirety. Simply because a dog dying is a trigger to make me cry. This scene got to me deeply though. Four years ago my yellow lab of 14 years developed rapid onset ovarian cancer. The whole family took her to the vet, and I sat on the floor with her. In less than twelve hours she went form her happy self to unable to move. I held her as she was put to sleep. Was the saddest moment of my life, a moment that still brings me to tears today. Crying now just typing this. I do hope that someday, when I move on from this world to whatever may be next, that I get to see that dog again.
So heaven has a rainbow bridge and looks a lot like the earth but more better and more beautiful
Yup! 😊
My family’s had a lot of dogs, but I’ll only ever really love one. He was my best friend and I had him for half my life. Hope someday I can see a little bit of his life in another dogs eyes. Miss you Dover
This scene is the hardest I’ve cried during a movie
New record! 😭😭😭
It's so heartbreaking 😭
Yes it is 😭
I love that they made the ending the same as A Dog's Purpose, Dennis Quad with Bailey in the sunset.
I’ve never cried over a movie, but then I watched A Dog’s Purpose and now this, I can’t even control my sobbing every time I watch the scenes where the dogs die
The one thing in life that’s more precious and special than anything, is none other than love
This movie made me cry really hard because it talks about two sensitive themes: dogs and cancer. I loved it anyway.
I could not stop crying for both movies dogs will never stop loving
This is the first time I've ever seen a movie show the passing of a pet and its owner at the same time before showing them reunite in heaven. God it hurts, but it's so beautiful how it all ties together in the end 😭
If only the others knew this time Bailey was gone for good, though he’s in a better place now with his “lifelong” friend
I always watch this when I think about my boy. When it's my time I know he will be waiting for me. I can't wait to hear his lovely bark once again.
I miss you Cash. You were my little man.
I hope you will see him, for eternity at heaven. Playing.

I miss my dad and my dog, but seeing this gives me hope they are together somewhere.
I started crying harder when he ran over the rainbow bridge 😭😭
Its enough to make a grown man cry
But not this man
Last year on my birthday, August 29th, my dog had to be put down because he was diagnosed with cancer. I loved him ever since. I was ready to show him my new home when I moved without him. We couldn’t pick him up at the time. But when I wanted to show him a dog park near our new home, he wasn’t moving back at my old home. Then, a few days later, my brother told me we had to put him down. I cried hard because I wasn’t ready for that to happen. On my birthday, it was time. We took him to the vet and gave him one last goodbye before he crossed the rainbow bridge. I walked out of the vet crying. I wasn’t ready for him to die. But now he lives forever in my heart. I love you forever, Rocco. I hope you’re happy living the joy of your lifetime across the rainbow bridge. You were a good boy, Rocco. 🐾❤️🌈

WHY DID THIS MAKE ME CRY SO HARDDD😭😭😭😭😭😭
Last October, my mother and I said goodbye to our dog, Marley (named after Bob Marley, not the dog Marley XD). He was a poodle but he wasn't froufrou. He was with us for eighteen years! Almost nineteen, and he stuck with us through sheer stubborn will that came from his love for us. We could tell tho, in the time leading up to his, he was in pain. And it would have been selfish of us to keep him any longer. So... we took him to the vet and sent him off into the Ever After. He'd earned his rest, and even then he didn't want to leave. He loved us so much, was worried for us, that he didn't want to go even in the end. We cried our eyes out when we said goodbye, and even after, we kept thinking we'd hear him or see him around the house before we were reminded he wasn't there anymore. Our home wasn't the same after that.
We waited a while before deciding to get another dog. We wound up getting one sooner due to a scare, and we found our puppy, Rhea Sunshine! She's a mix of chihuahua and jack russel terrier, and she's exactly the love and light we were missing in our hearts and our home after Marley was gone. We intend to have her for a long time to come, and soon we plan to have another dog too, a bigger one to be our protector, so Rhea will have a little-big brother (little as in younger; big becuz he'll grow up to be bigger)
Of course, no dog will ever replace Marley in our hearts. He was with us longer than any dog we'd ever had before. He wasn't a pet. He was family, and we know we'll see him again one day, when each of us crosses the rainbow bridge too.
I watched the sequel a while back with my sister and we were crying our hearts out. Now, we watched the first one but it hit harder because our birb died recently and we were sobbing instead. Love your best friends and everyone while they're here. ❤
My dog Zoey died 4 years ago she was a rottweiler and she was the greatest dog who has ever lived and I miss her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless you Zoey. I'm gonna cry!!!

Anytime you will die, you will see them in heaven.
@Sylar Gartner it is real
God, let me cry over this now
All dogs go to heaven because that's where they came from. They put down their wings for a short time and spend time on Earth with us. Unfortunately, God doesn't want his angels to be away for too long so he asks them to come back.
The tough part of being a owner is always saying goodbye to them in their final times. I always tried my best to take care of my little man Riley unfortunately life had other plans for. I recently lost Riley a day ago he was sick I had gotten home early morning from work to see him laying down not moving at all and my girlfriend and I drove him to the vet and he was happy with the drive unfortunately we weren’t able to get him in and had to drive back home and wait for a call from the vet to let us know when to go in. I left him in the back yard while I went to shower and when I got out I unfortunately found him laying next to his favorite tree with no life in him and it hurts like hell feeling you didn’t do enough to try and save your own pet I blame my self for his passing and I will never let that go. R.I.P Riley I’ll never forget you little man
You did what you could.
