  • Despite a fully overcasted day we had a very nice training flight. One of the highlights was persuading one of the Enzo drivers to go full speed and trying to keep up. While it seems to me that Enzo still has the upper hand in a race it doesn’t feel like a big difference in glider nor speed.

Could please provide more details? What wing sizes/loads. Also would be nice to see the risers to asses the speed system position..

Good questions but limited answers: I fly a Zeno 2 ML up to 110 kg loaded to top. No idea on what the Enzo size is and how it’s loaded, just asked the pilot to give it full speed and he seemed to have picked the challenge. Also… this is my only 2nd flight on a Zeno 2 so… there might me more ways to squeeze the extra km/h out of her 😀

Nice, thank you. Always useful to see your hands and the state of the speed system. I saw speed systems not setup properly or pilots pulling on rears and slowing down the wing.
In my test, properly weighted new Zeno2 was faster than Enzo3.

Seems unlikely that an Zeno had more speedbar range than an Enzo which also had a higher aspect ratio

@@boringsoaringNah it's due to the CCC certification which has a limited speed system length. It's not the case for en-D
