Load Testing The Home Made Dump Bed On my J20

Took the opertunity to load test the j20s dump bed while moving some dirt for a drive way extention.
the truck is idling poor in this Video due to a blown power valve that has since been replaced.
dump bed is nearly complete I still need to build a tail gate and rerun one hydruailic hose

That’s a great old workhorse of a Jeep Pickup. Building that dump bed adds a lot of extra value and capability to that machine. American Iron all the way!

Good information, I’ll be doing that in the future on my 1994 F250 4x4. Looks like I’ll use larger hydraulic cylinders…

Finally, I got to see it in action. I can't really tell but are hinges at the end of a stock chassis or did you trim it back to allow over hang. I have a 2011 dually that might serve me as a dump bed project. Thanks for the videos.
