  • in this video I will teach you how to loudly whistle without using your fingers or the loud fingerless whistle.
    Whistling loudly without your fingers allows you to do all manner of things with your hands such as carrying shopping or wearing gloves or taking out the trash and yet still being able to catch the attention of a dog a beautiful woman or a handsome man, a taxi cab or a bus. Whatever reason you have for whistling, you will now be able to do it regardless of what you are doing with your hands.
    There are two main parts you need to understand to whistle loudly without your fingers. First of all you need to create a chamber by sealing off the space between your tongue and the roof of your mouth. You can do this by pressing your tongue against your teeth and leaving a space between your tongue and the roof of your mouth and a small hole at the front of your mouth between your tongue and Front Teeth where the whistling air will exit.
    The second part of whistling loudly with no fingers is creating a passage for the air to exit your mouth that allows the sound to be created. This is accomplished by pulling your bottom lip over your bottom teeth and pushing your jaw forward to form a hard surface for the air to pass over. If your bottom lip he's not in line with your tongue then the airflow will be disrupted too much to make noise.
    While these two parts of whistling with no fingers are important, since everybody's mouth is different you will have to make adjustments based on the shape of your mouth and teeth and tongue and lips.
    The secret to mastering this skill is practice. Whenever you have a chance while you are sitting in your car or your room or walking to school or walking to work practice trying to make the most basic low-level whistling sound. you not in line with your tongue then the air flow will be disrupted to much to make noise
    While these two parts of whistling with no fingers are important since everybody's mouth is different you will have to make adjustments based on the shape of your mouth and teeth and tongue and lips
    The secret to mastering this kill is practice whenever you have a chance while you are sitting in your car or your room or walking to school or walking to work practice trying to make the most basic low level whistling sound once you make that first sound you are well on your way but it can take many try it took me almost 2 years to master this technique but now I can whistle a tune anytime I want I can trip like a bird I can make the sound of sneakers weekend on a gymnasium floor and many other sound I can cheer my favorite teams and I can attract my girlfriends attention in the shopping mall should she get a little too focused on Louis vuitton handbags and Jimmy Choo Choo.
    despite all the work, it is completely worth the effort. Once you can whistle without your fingers you will find yourself doing it all the time and improving your skills just for fun. Whistle while you work, whistle like a bird, whistle your favorite tune, whistle at your friends or your enemies. don't whistle at the opposite sex if they don't want you to. That is known as harassment.

      I use it to get my wife's attention in crowds when she just goes wandering off aimlessly. "Ironically" I whistle a "coo coo" sound just barely loud enough for her to hear, and most other people don't seem to notice that much or at all. If I use a more standard "hey over here" type whistle, EVERYONE stops and turns to look. Kind of funny that I have her conditioned to tune into it. Some might think that it is rude, but I think that it is better than standing there yelling. My kids think it's hilarious though. For my dogs, I use a yelping puppy type whistle that they instantly tune into. Just mimic the sound of a crying puppy and you got it.

    • @BillyJack85
      @BillyJack85 Před 4 lety +1

      @@angryagain68 I can just barely do the puppy whistle.... or at least that's what my nephew told me... is that the right track for being able to whistle loudly? I feel like when I do the puppy whistle that my tongue is more closer to my top lip than behind my top front teeth. I can get the puppy whistle sound when I do the tip of my top lip but I cant get anything when I try to move it back closer to my teeth or up underneath them.

    • @angryagain68
      @angryagain68 Před 4 lety +1

      @@BillyJack85 I have to pull my tongue back and downward about as far as it will go. I then control the whistle with my lips. Using a full lip pucker. I control the tone by moving my lips upward or downward in relation to my teeth. Tighter the pucker the higher pitched the sound. You might be able to hear me "maybe" a hundred yards away in the perfect conditions. Honestly, I believe it has everything to do with the shape of your teeth. My mother could do the two fingers in the mouth whistle UNBELIEVABLY LOUD! When I was a kid she would summon me home whistling that way. I could hear her from almost a half mile away most of the time. (farm country mostly.) She tried for years to teach me how to do it to no avail. I would almost pass out trying to do it. I doubt I can generate 20% of the noise she could whistling. She was at least as loud as the loudest store bought whistle I've ever heard. I had to just figure out a way to whistle that worked for me.

This is very satisfying! Lots of practice, saw a couple of more videos to help me a little too, but this one was probably the most helpful. I realized that the key at least for me is in the lower lip, not putting too much thought on the shape of the tongue, as long as you're making a chamber and the air comes out from your front teeth only. Great vid! Yesterday I’ve watched a couple videos before this one, the most useful one, and that same day after so many tries to get it just right I was able to whistle on that same day! And today, the day after I watched the vid, I’m better with it than I’ve ever been while being able to whistle with 2 fingers! Thanks a lot, I’ve wanted to learn that all my life, but at some point I just gave up, until this video helped me! Now, I will warn about this: ABSOLUTELY DON’T TRY THIS WHILE DRIVING BECAUSE YOU WILL GET LIGHTHEADED/DIZZY! I drive a dump truck for work, and I was practicing so much on the way home that I got so dizzy to the point where I felt I was about to pass out! Seriously! Go home and sit on something soft if you don’t wanna accidentally pass out and hurt yourself haha. Don’t forget to take a break to normalize your breathing! That’s it for me, thanks again from the bottom of my heart, now I can annoy people without licking my salty fingers (that’s a joke of course)!

      So happy for you that you are now able to whistle and very pleased my video was able to help. Good idea not to overdo it while driving a dump truck especially. That could get ugly. One way to avoid passing out while you practice is to practice at low volume. Once you can make a whistle at low volume and low pitch then you can try to raise it. Good luck and keep me posted.

    It looks like it works the same way like a flute. Your lower lip splits the airflow which comes through a very thin space created with your upper teeth and your tongue. That's the theory. I can play the flute but I can't whistle. Yet. Thanks for the video!

  • @christianpeters3757
    @christianpeters3757 Před 5 lety +1

    When you are changing the tone from low to high are you drawing in your bottom lip or moving your tongue or both? Have the low pitch whistle down now after like 2-3 days. Pretty cool!

    • @davidpatrickgreen5319
      @davidpatrickgreen5319  Před 5 lety +2

      You are moving your tongue towards the roof of your mouth to make the chamber smaller and you have to tighten your bottom lip because you will have to also blow harder and that will deform your lip if it is not drawn tight. You can still do a low whistle with a tightly drawn bottom lip but you can't do a high whistle with a loose bottom lip.

    Really great video. You sir explained it perfectly and i found this one the most helpful out of all the videos i watched. In 2 days i managed to go from blowing without any sound to to slight whistle sound with blowing. Any tips for how to remove that unnecessary blowing sound and how not to waste any air?

    • @davidpatrickgreen5319
      @davidpatrickgreen5319  Před 2 lety

      Try to get the purest sound possible when you are not blowing that hard. Then slowly increase the pressure and tighten your mouth as you increase the pressure while decreasing the space inside your mouth.
