Thank you! I have just won my first game with this tactic after being so frustrated with this meta repetitive style of play. This actually opens up passing options and it was genuinely fun to play because I enjoy possession and building attacks. Has a lot of potential and looking to explore it more. Well done!

I have been running almost identical tactics for a couple of weeks now but with the CDM set to Deep Lying Playmaker instead of STP to prevent him/her from moving up the pitch too much. That way you get more deep sideways coverage of the field.
Interesting, I've not tried that yet this year but the last couple years since they brought that in it's not gone well for me,will have to try it again
@@esso99gaming You need the right player for the CDM spot, as you mentioned in the video. I use Kimmich and from the bench Engen or Patri after 60 minutes or so. But the DLP thing is not everyone's cup of tea. ;)

You should do more ❤ keep up the great work, can you show us how to score corners and stuff? Or tips I’m a 16 win plauer on average but there’s a lot I don’t know about the game I.e corners
If anyone wants a class cdm if rice still out just out he’s broken. With press proven plus he doesn’t lose the ball
Can definitely do a corner video in the near, I'll have to try and grab a couple of examples but there's definitely ways, ideally you need players with aerial and power header to score them consistently

You can be a good player too. Just stay calm, play slow. I dont know how to do a single skill move, but iam in div 2 now. WITHOUT ANY SKILL MOVE... My striker only have 3 star skill moves. It tells you everything. Be patient, stay calm, play slow, pass the ball more like in this video. You dont need to be a good player with all the skillmoves all the full out pressure, NO. Play it smart like this guy in the video. He is just playing smart. Remember, sometimes if you working SMART is better than WORKING hard.

What formations do you recommend to beat 5-4-1 and others with a 5-back line?
That's where the 4321, 442, 4222 come in, they're the current meta cause 3421 and 541 were the meta at the end of fifa 23, it all goes round in circles
@@esso99gaming I'm not so sure about this because the 5-4-1 is very effective against the 4-3-2-1, which was also the meta of FIFA 23. Hence my doubt about which formation can be more effective against the 5-4-1 and others with 5-back.
@@zealima So as I said a the end of the part 2 video the reason why 4321 4222 and 442 are the current meta is because they are the best formations are countering 541 3421 as you use the narrow width when attacking to swamp the midfield then the press after possession loss to stop them from getting out

This might work in lower tier divisions. But I cant get it to work against good opponents.
It doesnt because of the possession build up , higher div runs faster players and possession force the players to come short and press the ball carrier u have to l1 trigger to push them back and make lob through balls
The pass to the cdm or even the st should still always be on due to the player instructions, if you're playing the first pass to the gk as I say in the video then a chip into the cdm or st will be perfectly viable, may require a gk with good passing but if you're at high level you should have that anyway
@WaZarooo This is exactly the point possession brings your players short so the opposition over commit on their press leaving those lob through balls in behind their press open see 9:35

Either 352/5212 or if you wanna be real ballsy mirror it and play 3142

SO much sample SIZE 20 games
Literally been using these tactics since fifa 19, each year it's been effective against 442 and 4222, since fifa 22 against 4321 when that came into the meta, and whilst everyone is on press it's never been more effective, my sample size is gonna near 10000 games not 20
Get Lauren Hemp on. Go from RB to LW with a long ball pass (someone like Trent will help with that but most defenders can do it), jog slowly down the wing sending your full back on the over lap, fake as if you're going to put them in, then cross the ball to your striker... Hemps crosses are basically what you've always wanted Beckhams crosses to be... then bam... big header from Klose (Ariel+) or Lewandowski (Power Header). Their 71 press, narrow defenders leave the space for your Left Wingers when your right back has the ball, so the pass is always on. It's super effective with Hemp as a sub too.

The patch wasn't that strong. Hemps a bit behind the curve now but it still works... if nothing else, you could try it as a game changing sub. She comes on with pace, late in the game to get that cross against tired defenders. @@esso99gaming

If you think attacking with Ricken, Dempsey, Cahill and Kanu is easier than using whatever you're using either your team is awful or you've not looked at these cards because trust me these players are 85 rated and already discard for a reason 😅 these tactics work for any team
None of these players are meta, usable maybe. Some are not even usable
His team is quite average. :) It is all about how you use it.
