Mayurbhanj palace is an architechtural miracle built in 1804 by erstwhile queen Sumitra Devi Bhanj. After wards it was developed by The successive kings of Mayurbhanj Maharaja Krushna chandra BhanjDeo, Maharaja Sriram chandra Bhanjdeo, Maharaja Purnachandra Bhanjdeo and Maharaja Pratap chandra Bhanjdeo. Presently two colleges M.p.c. Junior College and Govt. Women's college are running here.

Thanks a lot for showing us the internal view of the palace,when I was doing my M.A. in MPC Auto College in 2010-11, once I tried to visit the place with my friends, but I couldn't visit it completely, today I felt happy to see the place, memorable life of Baripada, though I m from Keonjhar, but I like and love Baripada more than Keonjhar. The people, market and natural beauty of Baripada are very good. I wish to stay there once in my life with my husband.
