No one loves the Mambas like Dingo, and no one handles them better. My favorite is the Black Mamba. We were briefed on them since we over flew their territory, and I have the greatest respect for the Black Mamba. Thanks for this tremendous video, Dingo.
I love the idea that the Mambas are so terrifying that you needed to be briefed before FLYING over them lol
It's crazy because nobody is as at risk as dingo with his severe allergy to the venom of elapids
But his wife understands who he is, and what he loves and they do it as safely as they possibly can with the precautions possible, while also acknowledging the risks
Black mamba is the John Wick of all snakes
I come from a place (Western Oregon, USA), where garter snakes & the occasional gopher snake were as dangerous as they come. How I loved catching these local snakes as a boy. Checking out Dingo over there in South Africa, I can't help but wonder what my attitude & practices might have been had I been face to face with Mambas, Forest Cobras, Gabon Vipers & the like. No doubt it would have differed greatly, as would my parental oversight & instruction, which, in the circumstances, was lax, to say the least.

Black mambas are cool but my favorites are the Jameson's, and E green. For me it's more of an individual snake, I love the neon green and the ones with blue flecks the black backgrounds on some of them really make them stunning.
The green mambas may have the coolest colouration of any snake IMO. It almost looks fake its so bright

All of the mambas we saw are just amazing animals. They’re beautiful, elegant, athletic and captivating, but mainly, they are so deadly. It’s incredible how well Dingo handles them. Truly spectacular to watch.
Everyone seems to love the bright green of the east but I think the west looks the best with the way it has like a black outline on every scale.

West African green mambas are literally stunning!! And this is true of all the mambas, they have really cute smiley faces with big eyes. I’m always wondering why the venom of black mambas acts so fast. I guess the answer to my question is in the ingredients contained in their venom...

My favorite species of Mamba is the Eastern Green mamba. I got very close to one in December.

Oh I really love the very first green mamba with the occasional blue scale and I love the black mamba and that pure black mouth. I would LOVE to come to Africa and have the opportunity to work and to see some of these magnificent animals. Plus to meet you and Kristi and your family wow. But, sadly there is no way due to I just can't afford it. But I would love love love too.

The Jameson Mamba are absolutely amazing, the way Dingo handles these mambas is really incredible. I am about to start animal behavior college and want to study snakes.

Dingo, on more than one occasion in this video, the snake’s head was very close to your right gloveless hand! That is so incredibly dangerous considering how quickly they strike, and the fact regarding your allergic reactions.
You should have protective gloves on both hands!

Although the BM is my fav snake of all snakes, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful snake than the Eastern Green Mamba with the green scales on a black contrast. Just amazing.
Mambas are pretty snakes the Jameson green mamba is nice the West or east African green mambas I believe are the ones that are really bright green and almost glow in the dark.

I think black mambas and green mambas I think all the mambas are beautiful beautiful snakes however I also have too much respect for what their venom can do to a human being to even try and play with one which one day I would like to see one in person but I don't want to I have too much respect for their venom and for them as a snake to try and play with one

Dingo. I hope you see this comment. I saw black mambas for sale online for 150 dollars!! I feel like that puts alot of people at risk. Some amateur will buy that mamba and get killed. Is there some way to report that or something. I relocate snakes and I’ve handled a lot of dangerous ones the black mamba is the one I would not mess with, without a lot of training. Just wanted your thoughts

jeez, 15 minutes? they're persistent when they want to be. the other wild fella in the cabbage patch was extremely calm, too. that strikes me as a mentally keen animal. perhaps prone to overreaction when they perceive provocation, but not without reason altogether.

i believe that a mamba isn't aware it is lethal, and uses it's energies alot on movement, and doesn't 'sense' it would have lethal power towards humans. Mambas in my opinion are very scary, but the timber diamondback is just pure nasty horror!🥲🤨
It definitely knows it's lethal because it bites animals and see them die.
