Hii greetings from singapore!:)) i have this exact bonsai at home and i was wondering, why does it often brown after i had it styled, trimmed after 3 days or so and whut sort of soil mixture this this type prefers??
Hi
I prefer to prune by tearing off the tips instead of cutting. Soil should drain well. I use different types and mixtures.
You need to go in with your sheers and clip the tip without cutting the needles below. This is where the time and patience is important. Very tedious and very rewarding..

You need to master the technique before you can teach it. Always wire two branches together for stability. Never leave three branches protruding from one node, etc.

Die werden zweifach verdrahtet weil die Bäumchen irgendwann zu instabil in viel zu flachen Tellern rauskippen würden.
Ist Pott massiv genug und Bäumchen leicht, ist zweifache Verdrahtung sowas von Schnuppe.
