Growing up in BR, if you got expelled you got sent to the lil alternative school and if you got expelled from the alternative school you couldn’t attend any school in the parish. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of kids got caught up like that and were forced to drop out early af. I’m pretty sure we weren’t the only city with some rule like that.
