In all fairness with flapple, it gets hustle so when dynamax ends it can hit more often. Agree that some of these are very situational.

Desperate4 Views One, Ttar enjoys the game and did in fact finish it. Two, there are raid events where certain gmax pokemon spawn like crazy and at that point there had already been a few of these.

@@megaknight4441 Gen 5 cranked up the power creep enough that the most dominating pokemon in gens 5, 6 and 7 was a gen 5 pokemon so it's not like they need buffs anytime soon and even now on gen 8 the meta has more gen 5 pokemon dominating the meta than from any other specific gen...

I just had a thought that made me kinda disappointed with Gmax. In Gen 6, we got Gen 1 and 3 starter megas. It would've been perfect if for SwSh and Sinnoh remakes we got Gen 2 and 4 starter gmaxes. But of course, Kanto starters get more forms instead.

Also, something to keep in mind is that the sub par effects are still accompanied by powerful damage. Still, for many pokemon the regular dynamax move is better than the gmax move.

I like your theory about dynamaxing is like a susanoo. Oh and actually G-max Gravitas is more useful than you think because Gravity boosts the moves' accuracy. In this gen's meta the pokemon with Hustle are pretty good, like Durant, Flapple or Dracozolt, so you can pair them up with g-max Orbeetle

If you play the musical notes on Lapras's body, its the same song that you hear for the move sing which put you to sleep.
Those markings on the gen 1 starters where the same markings they had when mewtwo cloned them in the remade Pokémon movie.
I feel like Rillaboom’s g-max move will have an Uproar effect
G-max wild fire kind of works like grass pledge+ fire pledge: "This move, if used in Double/Triple Battles with Grass Pledge, will damage the opponents by 1/8th of their total Hit Points for four turns. If the opponents are of the Fire-Type, they don't receive damage"
So G-max moves for Blastoise and Venu will probabbly have the same effect (or boosted like wildfire) for the other 2 combinations.
Blastoise: "will create a rainbow which doubles the changes of moves having Seconday Effects for four turns"
Venu will summon swamp which reduces the speed of the opponents pokemon by 75%. (My favorite)
The white stuff all over Kingler is a reference to how some crabs “bubble” to get air in their gills, so he has a big bubble beard!

I was playing pokemon sword when you said orbeetle. Then a dottler appeared.
Kingler gigantomax is more akin to it’s Japanese spidercrab origin look with a beard of bubbles while its normal state is more Alaskan king crab.
Don't forget. All Gmax moves can be used 3×. 2pp×3=6pp, 1/6hp×3=3/6(1/2).
If they could do 5pp or 50% 3 turns straight, they would be like Megas that could spam Z-Moves. Lol

Eternatus’s power leaks over Galar allow Pokémon to g-max or dynamax
What I find interesting is that the Dex says G-Max Melmetal first appeared in a Distant Land, somewhere between 3000 years ago and today , yet as far as we know Dynamaxing/Gmaxing are only a thing in the Galar Region and it's because of Dynamax Energy in actuality being the Radiation emitted Eternatus who landed in Galar I believe 10000 Years Ago that then fell asleep till the Events of SwSh.
Eternatus landed in Galar 10,000 years ago, but woke up again 3,000 years ago (the Darkest Day), which is what caused Dynamax and Gigantamax. So Melmetal possibly could've arrived in Galar around the same time as the Darkest Day.
