Whhhhyyyyyyy won’t they just let us use custom avatars without sending close friend requests!? Ugh. It’s annoying and some ppl are weird about close friend requests bc they don’t want their person info being seen, which I get too. PlayStation, how about we bring back custom avatars and PlayStation themes?

@@theopenworldlover5503 it's most likely because you have a children's account, I have one and it says that for so many options, if your not that progressed on your current account maybe just make a new one on your playstation

Hi i am having troubles i don't know my password and i can't reset it or else I will loose my fortnite crew pack it says in the discription 😢😭
You should not lose content by resetting your password at all. I'm not too sure about all the Fortnite stuff these days though, so if you do, contact Epic. All resetting your password does is sign you out of all your PS devices, you then will be asked to sign back in, and when you do, everything will be back to normal.

Make sure HDCP is enabled in your settings under HDMI :)
UPDATE 1/07/22 July: this does not work anymore. i went to try and found out Sony removed the feature to add custom profile pictures for some unknown reason :(
It very much does still exist. I've just double checked on both the app and website to see, and it's there and it functions as intended on both.
Not quite sure why you wouldn't be able to see it but my suggestion is that you first try using the app if you used the site, or the site if you used the app. If you still can't see it, watch the video again slower to make sure you are looking in the right place.

NOTE: YOU STILL CANNOT SHOW YOUR PROFILE PICTURE AS YOUR AVATAR ON GAMES!!! So even when you play online people will only see the avatar that is in chosen, NOT YOUR PROFILE PICTURE!

There use to be a way and you still can you just need a ps3 and 50 cents and go on a website I forgot name and make custom avatar then connect from website to ps3 with the same account on ps5 and it will show up as a premium avatar

So basically youre telling everyone to become close friends with everyone so they can change their profile picture. Sony needs to take note. We now have people on the internet potentially compromising their privacy to have custom avatars
All becoming a "close friend" does in addition to revealing your profile picture, is reveal whatever you have your display real name set to, nothing more.
For example, mine is set to Octorious as the first name and YT as the 2nd name.
Unfortunately, this is the only way for more than just yourself to be able to see the custom pic.
Don't get a console buy a computer because consoles are becoming scams
