honestly, I never really took into account that her gem was cracked. I was just like, "Damn, you're pretty strong Lapis." And then it became clear to me her gem was cracked. Never did I think about that when "she" fought the gems... My eyes have been opened!

Ports usually take a long time
Lapis for a DLC chapter or a port as whats the point of a port of the SAME game exactly? Usually new characters are added for ports too.
Well we got pair o dot. But yeah they kinda dropped the ball on the character selection. I would have killed for a chance to play as "Jasper", "Bismuth." "Lapis." "Topaz." and so many more...but I guess that's what DLC is for
The point of a port of the same game is so more people have access to it
Joe Kurr peridot* and the game is off hand Canon, so until there's something that contradicts the game's story, it's Canon. Including gems like the ones you suggested (except lapis) would immediately destroy any chance of it being Canon due to the timeline placement of this game. Rebecca sugar wouldn't tell us something is Canon if she already knew it wasn't.

I keep reading "I'm glad Lapis isn't playable she's to overpowered" Then I remeber oh ya Lapis the same gem who got one shotted by Bismuth, who also lost to Steven XD. Again don't take this personal I don't hate Lapis but there's other gems that are far more op, but yes I do consider most off the crystal gems on equal footing there power scaling's are not that far apart from each other. But yes I do think Lapis would be fun to play as.
