One of the places I really enjoy walking around is, downtown Angeles City. If you want to get a true felling of the people and the culture of Angeles City, then you need to visit and walk around the downtown area.

OMG! That is my route going home from school! I went to HFA in grammar school and then HAC in high school. I remember some of those stores like the optical place. I went to school with their kids. That was 40 years ago. Thank you!
..........seems bustling.........
I like your videos
I Lived Angeles City in the 70's under martial Law, with the Marcos Presidency. I recognize nothing , obviously. The streets had very little concrete back then ! The traffic/population activity is hard to adjust to my memory. Amazing ! Really appreciate "The Walks" Brian ! You bring back quite an impression on my memory ! Ask Lut if she knows Louog and Bagio City ? Great job. I appreciate your faithful providing of so many vid's ! Very nice family sir. Keep em coming please.
That looks like a very nice area to shop in.... thanks for the great walk...
Good video Brian. My wife and I really enjoy it when you go out and walk around . It’s great. Please do a video on new subdivisions around Angeles City.

I haven't been back in my hometown for 2yrs. Thanks to your video it ease my homesick. 👍
Most cities in the Philippines have a similar look. Tight streets, small sidewalks with vendors. My favorite is the open markets. Love the Jeepney's in Metro- Manila and Angeles City. Not just a novelty, but a workhorse. Good video!
Friendly people in Angeles... it made me want to go! Salamat!
Kind people 👍

Always good to see your walks and this area not changed to much from my stay, I remember when there in September 2010 just how many shops had Christmas decorations and lights
Remind me Toronto's Kensington Market at Spadina and College.
This is my neighborhood, mostly to the MacDonald's and Nepo Center and the Quad. There is a jazz festival on the 21st at 7pm there.
Sounds cool!
Enjoyed watching your video, Thanks

Part of your video was shown twice Brian,

ITS GROUND HOG DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
he must have been sleepy editing this video
To most of those merchants, you're a rich tourist.
Brian, great video buddy!!! My fiance was at the palengke in this video at the 8:56 mark... She has a crossbody purse and was shy to say hi!!! She was so shocked to see you as we watch every one of your videos as you post them!!! Totally awesome!!! Thank you for capturing the moment while out walking in Angeles!!! Check it out, that is my fiance!!!
Yes that is me!!!!!!!!
Doug Lusch I had to rewind a few times so I can see your fiance. I would have said hi to Brian if I was her. By the way, she's pretty.
Jane Dudynsky thank you Jane, what you can’t see though is her beautiful heart!!! It was so cool to see her as Brian was out for his walk filming :) Thank you for your sweet comment!!!
Did she go across the road to Ocampo to check out the jewellery?
Hi Jeffrey... No i didn't go to Ocampo's... Just paying our bills on that day...

Hey Brian, are you in the Matrix, your video is looping!
Just discovered your videos. Great interaction with the people. You're not one of the "ugly Americans."
This video just went into loop
I would definitely live in Angeles City if I were to move back to the Philippines. I remember watching one of your videos showing house prices in one of the subdivisions in Pampanga. Hoping that you would do another one of those videos.
I think the bacla at 12:42 was interested, Brian! Ha-ha!
Brian I would have a real hard time walking past all those bakeries. I would probably gained so much weight it would be ridiculous
hi brian and lot lot....oh hanah grace...........im moving to philipines and would like to know about medical insurance and costs please....i know you had to check your policy when you were ill...do you have cover from philipines or from the usa....keep up the great vlogs.....
Not an american but somehow i think i can help to answer...if u have no kids & u dont spend more than $200 per month in PI...u can grow old there not even paying any medical insurance or any brainwashed insurances u know😥...there in PI, u can live cheaply as u could & would still live comfortable😇
...learn to blend in,leave ur american ways if u want to live in PI🇵🇭...live simply & u would surely see it clearly😇👍
I loved those street markets, you can find almost anything.. my Wife wouldn't pay asking price for anything..lol...she is a Filipina so she knows how to bargain..
Hi Brian if i ever see you in a/c i will buy you a beer or two mate, great entertainment.
From Boston to the Philippines sometime next year for me...
I use to walk this streets back when I was in College at AUF
Soak ears of corn overnight in salt water (leaving husk on)
Put corn on grill with husk on
Remove after cooking husk it and brush butter on.
Masarap!
I know they cook corn on the grill in Pa. don't they?

that was singapore dollars. Maybe at that time they don't have the latest USD rate yet, it happens, there's a certain cut off esp with USD.
My old dermatologist clinic "dermcare is across the street. And my old elementary school. HFA
Dvds is a bit random since "most" (all) is copies, but if you buy from same place until you know them its fine, you can return crap since they know you. But yes, dont expect it to be nice.
Everyone own their cellphones me too I'm watching this video.
That San Nicolas public market A.C. Philippines.
Make me laugh when they say hi Joe ... i reply I am English not American they come and chat.....
Hi Brian, why don't you have a vid of some of the shops around?
Can you post what the prices of things are there? Like what are the prices at the fruit market? And from the video it looked like sandals are 60 or 100 pesos. Are they any good?
How far is it from walking Street?
Hey Brian don't forget last Saturday was hot chick day so be sure go out tomorrow and film some more
Where is the place to shop for knock offs there? Also who has the best pool party score birds or wild orchid? Noobie going in march
How far is walking street to San Nicholas market by trike? About how much? A Lot of knock off shoes shops n clothes shops? Thx...
This is like old downtown manila-recto.
In Philippines they have a pawnshop culture, if you need money you first ask for money, then ask for something you can borrow and pawn. My fiances mom have payed for one of her sons pawned wedding ring for over 2 years, so she soon payed same amount as they cost from the start. I get a bit irritated when my fiance tell, x come and ask to borrow my rings to pawn but will pay me back in 3 months with a extra bag of rice, and she already know it wont be 3 months it will be closer to 9 months and the woman that ask is her dads ex mistress that she hates. Im sure its a cultural thing i just cant understand. In Sweden most people dont even know a person that have pawned anything and have never even been inside a pawnshop.
What does the whistle mean
Salad! Salad! 5, 10, 15, 20!! Salad! Salad! 5, 10, 15, 20!!
Baaa.. luuut.... Baaa.. luuut....!!!
The rotunda has morph from the 50's!!! Thanks for a day in Angeles City!!!
Burn Holy Family Academy to the ground, lots of face mask here, yeah really safe
Weather good in September 2018
Brian I'm a PWD using a wheelchair but very active how to handle my wheelchair, I'm planning to move on Clark City It seem Clark is more friendly on wheelchair user, do you have an idea about moving around Clark in the sidewalk area? if it is friendly for wheelchair users?
Slum tourism in some third world cesspit is really fun with local's laser eyesight burning through his backpocket. When that guy jumps in front of him waving his arms that's almost certain another one is behind him ready to pick his bacj pocket.
Am i seeing double, you seem to have shown same street twice, i wonder why?
I can see why you wouldn’t walk that area very often... it was an uncomfortable sensory overload for me just watching the video!
celtosaxon It's not much compared to the rest of the city tho 😂
Is this the rotonda?
10:14 i see my dads family’s pawnshop :)
Hey Brian, we just got an I phone 6 for fannie's nephew over there for php 5,589. why is it so cheap? do you think its a fake? he seems to really like it and the camera is so clear on fb. -paul
'coz its really cheap to buy there😇
No taxes on it too!🤑
