I know it's April Fools, but DAMN do I want a Commander in that kind of armor. That would be so based if he can finally be part of the frontlines.
Probably a powered suit wouldn't be enough. He'd most likely need to transform into a Tekkaman or something, ha.
The joke is he's always in the frontlines. Unlike Virgin TTK, Chad SKK lead shipgirls from a battleship, actively fighting by commanding said battleship, and had faced both Sirens and Ashen face to face.
@@victoriazero8869 Unchecks and Embers. The ashen is a rename... which means the fires have died out and become only cold ashes. While the Japanese name 余燼 yojin means embers, which are still hot and burning... which is why their backgrounds and marriage certificates are on fire.

まあ確かに前線指揮の必要があるとはいえ指揮官を量産艦に載せて海域に出すのは危ない（実際あるイベントでそれで危険な目に遭って守られたシーンもあった）ので、こういった装備は必要ないかと聞かれれば必要だと思う

I hate that I clicked this video, I hate that its April Fool's, and I hate that Manjuu is so damn good at it... because damn I want that suit for my commander.
Okay, it might be an april fool's joke but... No lie: This is my headcanon for the Commander in the field. Back at base, he can wear normal whites or whatever, but when it comes to a campaign, he puts on the S.H.I.K.I.K.A.N. armor and can defend himself so the girls don't need to cluster around and defend him from assault.
There's a reason the Sirens have never come face to face with him. They haven't SURVIVED the experience.
So this is what Jervis meant when she said Shikikan is returning in Queen's Orders?

Damn, that looks like a hybrid of Jack's suit from Ultraman and AL from FMP (namely the Arbalest) . Reno, Ingraham and Yuubari have really pulled out all the stops. Always figured something like this would happen. Or Yamato finally shows up but it is her 2199/2205 form.

絆の高い艦種の装備を一部借りて高出力の武器にできたり 指揮官そのものが装備として合体とかもいいとおもうなぁ
現状一部の艦に実装されている専用装備を流用すると特定の能力向上や装備の攻撃エフェクトが同じになるとかありそうですね。
(嫁艦だと更にボーナス数値が得られるとか。)

Don't know if I'm the only one here but the first anime that came to mind with this was Full Metal Panic.
Don't know if this is an April Fool's or a real thing, it's pretty cool either way and took quite some effort IMO. Nice!
While is a joke, something like this might work.
Add the commander as a support unit, kinda like the subs but with more flexible roles. Put suits in a shop or maybe in tech. And/Or put parts, so you can get an anti-sub suit or an anti-air.
Even faction based suits. with different effects, maybe only affecting ships according how close are them to the commander (so for the suit to be more effective)
And make it a high reward-high risk, like, make the suit is powerful, but if is destroyed you are forced to retreat from the map, not only from the node.

戦闘中に、潜水艦の支援みたいにボタン押したら出て来るんだろうなぁ。ちょっとの時間一緒に戦ってくれて、最後にどでかい一発入れて帰っていくみたいな感じで。
