I remember Rush talking about this on the show. He was so honored to be a part of this and he was a good sport about some of the jokes.
Yeah I remember that too. It's good for the culture when this happens.
He talked about it a few different times, he had a lot of fun with it.
And he was amused and complemented by various people working for Seth who told him in confidence that they were big fans. 'Closet Hollywood Conservatives' I believe he referred to them as. Fun stuff!

I admit I kinda don't like the guy (although I don't really despise him like some people understandably do) but I gotta give him respect for still working while cancer is taking a toll on him. Honestly I would do the same if I do get a terminal illness. Just because I'm sick doesn't mean I want to be bedridden, slowly waiting for death to come and take me.

In areas of America we still do. I can do outside and walk the street without getting mugged and get a good paying job like it's a dime a dozen where I live. People care about their neighbor and help each other out. Places with freedom, quality of life and compassion still exist but it's in pockets.

They usually talk about how amazing it is living here. They live in a predominantly white town and literally left a majority black continent to do so. You know what is really cool. Rush was deaf, and could not hear any melody. He did pretty good.

I knew his cochlear implant helped, but I have no idea what dynamic range it could cover.... I assume not much, since he so often had such a hard time parsing voices from background noise.
