All these test being mentioned here are unnecessary. We should accept these cars and be proud of the fact that they were made in our homeland. When the west started making cars there were no rigorous crash test, or any of all these other tests being talked about here. The test came into existence as car production evolved. So let us not raise the standard too high for ourselves in our little nation. We should accept it now and watch it evolve. It's my dream to buy one of these cars.

This will probably answer your question: "Kantanka vehicles are assembled in Ghana from CKD (Complete Knock Down) kits supplied by a Chinese firm, possible Foday through Chongqing Big Science & Technology." Two of their cars are just rebranded Foday cars.
They need huge financial backing to really take off and saturate Ghana and the whole Africa with their machinery. Maybe a corporate partnership with investment banks.
Why is this guy asking all these dumb questions about if everything on the car is made in Ghana. This shows how ignorant this interviewer is about the world of manufacturing. There is no such thing as 100% made in one factory. or country. In some cases, yes but for majority of the cases outsourcing is the name of the game. Most of the parts of the cars everyone drives use this method of manufacturing, eg bumpers, dashboard electronics, engine blocks and so forth to outside companies. Another example is aeroplanes, McDonald Douglas in the USA, builds Boeing 747, but what they actually build is the body in America and purchase the engine from Rolls Royce or General electronics. This is the year 2017, stop asking all these useless and uneducated questions about where the parts were made. All that matters is who manufactures it. Do you know where Apple Ipad, Iphones were build? They should just label it made in china and what about Nike, Reebok shoes? Do you question where the sole came from and where the top was made? but all you know is Nike is an American company. Educate yourself before you meet your guest.

While every manufacturer have are using some parts from other manufacturers (batteries, alternators, glass, tires...) they design car by themself and actually produce car parts. This is some sort of scam if you ask me because cars are expensive and he probably earns alot by just rebranding chinese cars in excange for a few jobs he secure for people.
They need a spokesperson who can give the public full details on the cars specifications or at least a website to catalog all the necessary info on each model, be it Engine Specs, Performance, Safety, Suspension, Fuel economy, Exhaust system, Steering etc.

Give an opportunity to expose your brand you talk about a foreign car you own, Rolls Royce a multibillion dollar company. why? they already have enough exposure, you will never hear of Mercedes executive owning bm vice versa, never.

These cars have been safety tested by China who provided all the parts with warranty. So please Africans buy with confidence
