Both times St Louis was completely fucked over by owners who didn't care about the city. I think if you can create an expansion team with local owners who are invested in the city St Louis will support an NFL team
They don’t have to have an own stadium. Wembley for example isn’t used most of the time. Also I’m sure some rich owner would pay for it all if the NFL really wants a London team, the market there is so huge it would be worth it to someone.
You are so biased against the south and Florida. Have you even been to Florida or just watch videos about Florida? Tampa and Jacksonville are not bad areas and aren’t bad stadiums. Orlando is a terrible place for a team and the Camping world stadium is garbage. The Jags will play in Gainesville while they renovate. The swamp is a better stadium than the Browns/Bengals/ or Steelers stadium. It doesn’t have many luxury boxes but the Jags aren’t worried about the profits, they just want a decent field and experience for their fans. The swamp is an amazing game experience and the only downside would be the NFL fans might get spoiled by being exposed to a super loud game experience with the seats so close to the field with the seats so steep. People don’t like the Devil Ray stadium in St Pete because there is nothing around the stadium so it feels dangerous when games get out at night, since it’s isolated. They aren’t moving.
its not bias, its somewhat of a fact. Sports teams in general don't draw well. Florida has too many other outdoor sports for people to enjoy which is why they have general bad attendance across the board.
I agree I've been a NYG fan all my life and I just officially decided to have Jacksonville Jaguars has my 2nd favorite team they will forever stay in Jacksonville
As a Football Fan, London is a nightmare, logistical nightmare , The NFL would have to place at least 4 Teams there to play it out, a big No. for Salt Lake City, but what about the Sunday rule, another No, Yes in St. Louis and Portland great Cities with a willing Fab Base. But then I’d go to Cities without any NFL Teams, like Omaha, Nebraska, a large Fan Base, and Albany, New York, We need another Team in New York not New Jersey. Bring back a Team to San Diego They deserve it. And place a Team in Alabama, great Fan Support. The NFL keeps going back to old Cities, try some that have Great Fan support in Their Teams. And lastly, The CFL, Won’t allow any NFL Teams in Canada, it’s CFL and They have the right to say No, be around since 1909, without any Teams from The NFL. The CFL tried in the nineties and it gave them a bad taste because the Baltimore Stallions made it to back to back Grey Cups lost the first time and then won the second Grey Cup.
Without the pirate ship it is nearly identical to the other stadiums built at the time. Raymond James Stadium, Nissan Stadium, and Paul Brown Stadium are all very similar
Football works a lot better in FL than baseball. Idk if the Jags will get the stadium they proposed, but they're staying put. And the Glazers will cause a stink for public funds, but the Buccaneers aren't going anywhere. Expect Raymond James Stadium to get a Miami-esq renovation announcement at the end of this or next season. Their lease is up in 2028. Also, there won't be another expansion team in the US before we get one (or more) in Canada or Europe.
Even with the Bills only a hundred miles away, I see Toronto being the best expansion site as the local area would be a seamless transition for the other teams traveling to it.
Best thing for an NFL Euro wing is to play home most games during soccer international breaks. If you notice the games NFL plays at Tottenham Stadium generally during international breaks. Canada makes the most sense.
32 is the perfect number. 34 is too odd to make work. Relocate the one or two teams with attendance issues to Toronto, Salt Lake or wherever (not London) and don’t mess up a good thing. THEN create a neutral site (Las Vegas would have been ideal but they now have a team so St Louis???) that has just 8 games a year and have the 8 international games. This way all teams play 8 home, 8 away and 1 neutral.
I feel like the only way the NFL expands is if the sport becomes so popular that the talent pool of players becomes a lot bigger than it is rn (where it feels like most teams have a true franchise qb for example) and 32 teams just aren’t enough teams anymore. I also don’t think there’s a good way to expand if you don’t add at least another full division of 4 teams, ideally two divisions of 8 teams. Otherwise you would have to change the whole system. So if they ever expand I can maybe see two new divisions being added. One division is fully European (London, Frankfurt, Munich, Madrid, Paris, …) and the other is North American (Toronto, Austin, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, …). But that should be at least a decade away.
The NFL will never work in Europe, mostly American fans go to the games and travel with their favorite teams, good enough to just have 1 or 2 games there a year.
London could be possible they have sold out every game. They would need a second or third franchise over there to make it work, but I doubt players would be eager to sign with a team in Europe given the travel.
Because of the CFL, I don’t see Toronto being a profitable destination due to conflict of interest with fans. I do feel like Mexico City is a dark horse for both the NBA and NFL.
The CFL is actually relatively weak in the biggest markets (i.e. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver) it's actually the smaller markets like Hamilton, Winnipeg, and Saskatchewan and the two Alberta teams that make the league tick lol Also the Super Bowl has now surpassed the Grey Cup as the most watched TV programme annually in Canada.
Tampa being the first stadium that hosted a rain-delayed WrestleMania just seems so appropriate. Though I'm shocked it never happened in the two Orlando 'Manias and the Miami 'Mania. My motto for Florida is "Sunshine State, my ass".
I think Saint Louis is more likely than you think. I doubt the owners in Texas will be willing to give up market share there. If they want to expand within the US, Saint Louis has already approved funds for a stadium, they support a UFL team like it's NFL, and the surrounding teams (Chiefs, Bears) have failed to capture the moderately large market share in the absence of the Rams. A management team that doesn't intentionally tank the team could have a successful fan base in STL.
Would it be possible if the A's wind up in Las Vegas if Oakland built new stadium where the Coliseum is for football . If they don't get the Raiders back, then to try to get an expansion team.
That is the only thing that makes sense for that location, but Fisher owns the development rights not the City of Oakland and I don’t think he is selling it back to them. The possibility of an NFL team at that location is exactly why he bought the rights to develop it.
NFL teams to possibly relocate: The Panthers leaving Charlotte The Jaguars leaving Jacksonville The Commanders leaving Washington, DC The Saints leaving New Orleans
I think by 2050 nfl has 40 teams a euro division London, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Munich. Then 4 north America teams Toronto, Mexico city, st. Louis, chargers move back to San Diego perhaps the jaguars come back as an expansion team and salt lake
Falcons fan from Atlanta here - there's nothing wrong with Raymond James other than it's filled with Bucs fans...it's a pretty nice place and I cannot see ever them moving. The dump in Jacksonville is another issue - narrow, dark long hallways on the concourse, a terrible food selection - just feels depressing and a roof over it is not going to solve that problem. St. Louis got screwed by one of their own when the Rams moved to LA. StL is a good town, but last time I was there it just felt like it was dying a long, slow painful death - and that's sad to say about my hometown. Toronto will never happen - the CFL has long actively fought the NFL encroachment, and with a big new stadium in Buffalo, Torontonians can make the ride there for a game. If any team does move - I think San Diego tops the list...but I dont see any teams moving anytime soon
They should just make European wing/division. And for anyone complaining let me tell ya one thing. It's not like NFL teams have many games in regular season. Ain't it just 17? My understanding is that team needs to play twice against division rivals. So you make Euro division have 6 teams, or even make two divisions with 4 teams each. Pretty sure that those cities could hande teams: London, Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Munich, and maybe Berlin or Frankfurt (Germans are rich and they seem to like NFL so more teams for them). Can consider Poland to with amazing stadiums in Warsaw, Wroclaw, and 3City, would be nice for Poland to get one team. That would mean that even 12 games could be 'out' from schedule for American Teams, so less complaining about traveling. Then you basically make some 'rotation' system because obviously European teams would want NFL teams coming in, but they also need to travel to US as well. So for current 17 games in regular season, how about adding one to make it 18. So as I mentioned 12 will be already out, then 3 would be played by Euro teams in US, and each of European teams will welcome 3 American teams. Would love to see a detailed video about it, and your take on the case.
I dont see why Duval County (Jacksonville) Residents would be mad. The UGA v UF Rivalry Game, aka: "Worlds Largest Cocktail Party", brings the city over $25M on average for that weekend alone
Every city should flip off these billionaires trying to hold them hostage for a new publicly financed stadium. Really they should be arrested and charged with extortion.
The Bucs aren’t leaving, dude. And the Rays likely didn’t move to Tampa proper, because the lease for Raymond James Stadium is up at around the same time as the lease for Tropicana Field.
One thing about Toronto is the CFL's Argonauts, and the potential for the NFL to draw fans away from the CFL. The CFL probably wouldn't be able to survive without the Argos.

Actually, there’s been plenty of signs pointing towards a move for the Bucs.
It’s possible not likely.
Both times St Louis was completely fucked over by owners who didn't care about the city. I think if you can create an expansion team with local owners who are invested in the city St Louis will support an NFL team
No one is giving an NFL team a stadium in London.
They don’t have to have an own stadium. Wembley for example isn’t used most of the time. Also I’m sure some rich owner would pay for it all if the NFL really wants a London team, the market there is so huge it would be worth it to someone.
If London willing to pay the franchise fee, never say never.
DG needs to do better research and not base everything on Google images of stadiums.
its not bias, its somewhat of a fact. Sports teams in general don't draw well. Florida has too many other outdoor sports for people to enjoy which is why they have general bad attendance across the board.
Yes he is . This guy hates Florida
Montréal all the way
HA!
I mean, Raymond James stadium has a pirate ship. A pirate ship. But you've clowned it. 🤷♂
Without the pirate ship it is nearly identical to the other stadiums built at the time. Raymond James Stadium, Nissan Stadium, and Paul Brown Stadium are all very similar
if okc can grow their downtown a little more they can make a case for
Football works a lot better in FL than baseball.
Even with the Bills only a hundred miles away, I see Toronto being the best expansion site as the local area would be a seamless transition for the other teams traveling to it.
a major hurdle with Toronto is that the Bufflo Bills will not survive and will have to move
And the CFL
We need a team in Sac fr
Canada has the CFL. So nope.
CFL is not big in Toronto. There is more NFL fans than CFL fans.
doesn’t Toronto have an NBA team? I thought the Toronto raptors were a thing
Jaguars should relocate to Orlando, Florida and become the Orlando Jaguars where they would still be in the AFC South
The Jags aren’t leaving. The Bucs will never allow a team in Orlando.
San Antonio is mentioned as a candidate for an NFL Expansion team since they already have the Alamodome.
I can't see Texans and Cowboys letting it happen though.
You always push Austin for any major league team.
They are not putting a third team in Texas he does not understand territorial rights.
I would have a NFL team in San Diego,St Louis, Portland Salt Lake City or Austin but not London,🇬🇧 or Toronto,🇨🇦. By way Toronto is CFL country
I wonder about Mexico or Canada as being 2 reasonable locations that could easily be added to the expansion team list.
Europe doesn’t give a shit about the NFL
London could be possible they have sold out every game. They would need a second or third franchise over there to make it work, but I doubt players would be eager to sign with a team in Europe given the travel.
@@scotttildFree agents would never go there, and the London team would just be poverty.
@@eliice1715 I tend to agree it would be a hard sell to players but in theory it could work. The games in London have all sold out.
Because of the CFL, I don’t see Toronto being a profitable destination due to conflict of interest with fans. I do feel like Mexico City is a dark horse for both the NBA and NFL.
Canada literally has their own football league. I don't think they need an NFL team
CLF and NFL have a non compete agreement, NFL is not expanding in Canada as long as the CFL is around.
Why does no one support the C F L in Canada . Stands are empty every game . Sad ?
I think the CFL and UFL merge and one or two CLF teams go to the NFL.
Because Canada invented Football.
You should do a video predicting which teams would have to relocate due to climate change.
New York only has one football team.
Dont know why they redo NFL Europe before thinking adding. Just 12 team NFL spring
Tampa being the first stadium that hosted a rain-delayed WrestleMania just seems so appropriate. Though I'm shocked it never happened in the two Orlando 'Manias and the Miami 'Mania. My motto for Florida is "Sunshine State, my ass".
That US map with the lights at the beginning bothers me……..
Just say no to the billionaire panhandlers'! They are already being supported by high priced tickets, merchandise, tv revenue, etc. NO MORE!
That’s one thing that the NBA does right it’s a very international sport and they capitalize on that unlike other American sports
The NHL was in Australia this year.
MLB always goes global.
NBA was in China a lot until they started telling NBA owners what to say...
Edward Jones Dome Stadium in St Louis has been renovated and why this guy hasn't mentioned it?
NFL teams to possibly relocate:
The Panthers leaving Charlotte
The Jaguars leaving Jacksonville
The Commanders leaving Washington, DC
The Saints leaving New Orleans
Not gonna happen in London not to mention that it would always be second fiddle to soccer
This team should move because I don’t like the stadium
Love to see a team in Iowa. Possible name- Des Moines Badgers or Iowa Badgers
Have you ever heard such a load of garbage in your life.??
To have any of this happen, we'd need 6 to 8 Al Davis' to reincarnate.
I don't think Toronto will get a team because the Buffalo Bills kinda serve as the de facto team for Toronto
I could see a team in Utah by 2035
Birmingham is a good idea.
OAKLAND NEEDS A NEW TEAM.
The Bucs aren’t moving lol. The stadium has its charm. I could see Tampa building a new stadium down the road but still don’t see it
I dont see why Duval County (Jacksonville) Residents would be mad. The UGA v UF Rivalry Game, aka: "Worlds Largest Cocktail Party", brings the city over $25M on average for that weekend alone
Have you seen Florida’s housing market? You’re clueless.
@@alexe727 I live in Tampa, so get ya money up if youre complaining😂
@@jimmyleebaker I’m in channelside pal, doing just fine.
I can not understand why no NFL team in Toronto its long overdue
Toronto needs a NFL. 4th largest market in North America. Mind blogging we don't have a NFL team.
I want to see a team in Toronto. Too bad the CFL won’t allow it.
Utah should get a team
Didn’t the Canadian government pass some laws protecting the CFL?
Bears Arlington Heights
NFL Europe for London there. Been there done that.
I think the state of international football has changed since then
Move the Chargers back to San Diego, add Montreal, and London.
It will be at least a generation before St. Louis gets considered for expansion. Too much bad blood between current community leaders and the NFL.
I dont get it you shit on older stadiums for having open roofs but want potential new stadiums to be open in the cold? which one is it are open stadiums good or not
OKC is top 5 on every list I’ve seen, idk what kind of list you used but it was pretty bad
Seattle should get another team. Like LA and New York
Keep Padded Rugby in Burgerland where it belongs.
The UFL will end up becoming the minor league for NFL.
What about an expansion in Toronto and one in Mexico City
No and No…CFL in Canada and I doubt Mexico City could be an option.
Always funny that billionaires need tax payer money 💰 but ask them to pay a few extra bucks to support poor folks and it is welfare, boot straps and other versions of no way.
Also wealth re-distrubution in the form of revenue sharing. Socalism for the rich, captialism for the poor lol
I absolutely hate and am annoyed by the whole "London Jaguars" talk.
As a Redskins fan I always thought that if Dan Snyder still owned the team they should just move to London.
I'm glad that scumbag doesn't own it anymore but if the new owners don't come up with the solution, I can see them move to either St Louis Austin or San Antonio
Texas is out for any expansion or relocation for a number of reasons.
I could definitely see the Commanders relocating to another city if the fan base continues to erode and they can't get a stadium plan in place
Raymond James stadium looks Like Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. NFL to Edmonton!!!!
remove the track, dig down and add 15,000 more seats. LFG!!
#OhGoodnessMeFolks!
the most realistic options: columbus, honolulu, omaha, portland, san diego, oklahoma city, oakland(maybe), memphis(titans old stadium), orlando, louisville, salt lake city and sacramento and no city in texas gets a team unless jerry jones says so everybody knows this
what are you talking about Memphis and "titans old stadium". The Oilers( not Titans ) played in Memphis for ONE year and that was in the liberty bowl. The Liberty bowl is not an NFL quality stadium. Hawaii? If London won't work neither will Hawaii not to mention they can't even build a stadium for the COLLEGE team. Coumbus? No. Ohio already has 2 teams. Omaha no. too small market, Oakland no. They refuse to send money on proper sports arenas. San Diego only if the build anew stadium which so far they have refused and as if anything teh Chargers should just move back. Orlando is not getting one. Too close to Tampa and Jax. Louisville same issues as Columbus. You're 100 miles from Cincy and 125 from Indy. Sacramento? nope.
@@harryballsak1123 Nissan stadium, Hawaii is getting a new stadium, Orlando can clean up and around camping world stadium and for st louis they have an xfl team play in there current stadium
