They got classes everywhere like 6hr Saturday n 6hr sunday you use thier bikes 4 and as long as u pass the class u then have ur motorcycle stamp on ur license. All u need is ur motorcycle permit witch is free at dmv just a 15 common sense questions on a computer. And legally u dont even need a motorcycle license just ur permit witch is good for like a year and u can just keep renewing forever.
Harbor Freight has a new table just came out, item# 59403 for $170. Looks exactly like yours except hole spacings are 2" apart IIRC. They can't keep them in stock and only get a few at a time. It's not even on their site yet. You have to call your local HF stores and ask if they have any. I picked one up the other day and have it sitting atop a .240" thick steel plate. I extended the holes in the HF table down into the plate and it's the cat's ass, man. It's not a $1k welding table but it does the job for the DIY guys like us.
Great table ! I'm keen to see how the Sporty turns out but I must say I thought it was perfect. Just enough of a build to be distinctive & eye catching. Just enough stock to be bullet proof reliable.
That table is pretty nice. I know what you mean about the cost of building your own. Just the top would have put me over budget...lol Your mods to the front of the Sporty were righteous, and the addition of that four-position key is smart. peace

I've been running a set of Lowbrow's ten inch t-bars and they're pretty comfy, but I'd like to get a taller set of t-bars from Zombie Performance so I'm a little more relaxed. I haven't went rigid (yet lol) so I'm not sitting as low as you are. I was thinking 12 inch but maybe 14 would work now that I've seen yours.
