Amelia Kyambadde clashes with Tanga Odoi over NRM nominations

The first stage in the nomination of those interested in internal NRM party positions and nationally might have ended on 31st July. But there are now claims that the exercise exposed deep seated intrigue and intimidation of key party administrators. Chairman of the NRM Electoral Commission Dr. Tanga Odoi accuses former NRM National Treasurer Amelia Kyambadde of influence peddling and using her position to promote illegalities through intimidation. But Kyambadde, who is also the Minister of Trade and Industry claims that Odoi is hell-bent on destroying NRM. As Sheila Nduhukire reports, reports, Amelia also claims that the new leadership at the NRM Secretariat is fuelling intrigue in the ruling party.
