This show was amazing. It was such complex, yet beautiful love story. I loved it so much. Great chemistry, great cast... perfection. When I though of Daphne and Simon I immediately though of this song of Lana del Rey. It well represents the pressure put into her to quickly find a husband, while she's still young.... and beautiful. And the hardship that goes with it, such as "Does he still love me?"

when they don't communicate and don't understand each other they are really toxic but in the end, they tried their best and their love won :)
He was the problem. She was quite open.
They were never toxic, just couldn't quite grasp the fact, that the 'game' they were playing backfired, (as they usually do,) and the real people they (Daphne,) was looking for, was right in front of her, all the time.
He's the only toxis one here

It is so easy to become obsessed with this show. I've watched it 3 times and each time I was in awe as if it were the first time
The part where she says ,,you would reather die than marry me?..‘‘ was so sad :(
I would have to add, that their whole love story was peppered with very sad parts. Poor Simon was so tortured by his monstrous father, that he just could not ever get over all the mistreatment he got from him, and just could not shake the fact, that he could never see a time when he could be good for anyone, because of his father always saying how disgusting he was, and to think it was just over a stutter. What an appalling man his father was.
In the book when Anthony caught Simon and daphne in the garden when Simon told daphne he would marry her if he could and it has him not her he told daphne that he didn't want to marry her because he told her he didn't want to see her die a little each day not have children that she could hold and know that she made that child and it would kill him so it was better for her to let her brother kill him and she could find someone else to love her and give her the family she wanted

I loved watching Daphne & Simons story to this song... the chemistry is maddening.. OMG!! The way they look at each other melts your heart ❤️. Love their dance scenes !! They definitely should do more movies together. Great chemistry!

The garden scene took me by surprise cause we were still not so sure of their feelings, even though the museum scene had dropped a hint something was starting.
Obviously we know they'd be together though cause they're literally on the series cover so yeah and who hasn't heard of Bridgerton but that sht was still awesome. They're my fav couple
I LOVE this show! Btw, am I the only one who thinks Daphne looks like a young adult Wendy Darling?! If you pay close attention to her hair and costumes, you’ll notice there are some scenes where Daphne looks like a live action version of Wendy from the classic Disney film. The way her bangs are curled...

It's like getting inside a Barbara Cartland book, the romance, the rake handsome hero and the beautiful, innocent heroine. Strong females, not bound by society's dictates. Love love it. Season 2, please.. the story of Eloise this time....
