Bootcamps are like a buffet. You get to taste everything. Bootcamps are a great source for getting introduced to the language/technology. But I feel in detail courses are also important. I believe a combination of these courses would be the best way to learn web dev. Bootcamps for understanding basics of frontend and backend , followed by a comprehensive course on each language.
i love 100 days of code! when i was first starting out i was stuck watching lectures and not writing my own code but that course really helped me actually code my own projects :)
We all need to learn to weigh in how helpful online resources and courses can be depending on our prior knowledge of the subject. These are great suggestions! Cheers, Tiff! 🥰🤓😍
I started 100 days of Python with Dr Angela and she's awesome. Just bought the full stack course mentioned in this video. As a side note, it was on offer and I got it even cheaper.
I think udrmy and skillshare and other platforms really get a new hype and it is a real serious business. It will replace learning with books mostly and the success of udemy and popularity proves it. Especially in software development, some of those angular courses by Maximilian (academicmind) are just so good and for 10-20€ getting 20+ hours ressources is really a great deal. It is really all you need to start getting into software development - just some udemy courses
For the web developer all the ones you mentioned have the highest rating. Before this video I bought a course by Andre Negoi I think. His is called Zero to Mastery Web Development Boot Camp. I wish I could go through all of them. Maximillian, Colte Steele, and Angela Yu all sound top notch.
Jaykumar I did not get around to doing his course but Real Tough Candy did reviews on him and she seems to think he is one of the better ones. I really wish I could give you an evaluation. I would check her reviews on CZcams
Jaykumar bhai, I cannot say because i did not finish any of the courses. I have to go through myself. I wish I could advise you on this. But there are reviews on CZcams on all of them.

Great video! Right now I am using Dr. Angela's courses for web development and python! Also planning on getting Colt Steele's course after that because I heard that him and Angela have the best courses.
For me i like Colt Steele courses . I first took his course for modern python 3 Bootcamp 2022, the syntax and semantic was so graspitable. Now I'm going through his course web development Bootcamp, it is very easy for me to grasp JavaScript because i already had a programming background from python language . I looking into his reactjs course soon. His voice inspired me to like his courses, he makes difficult things to be so easy to understand.
Thank you Tiff for sharing such valuable information with us, I really appreciate Udemy that's the best source for learning everything not only in programming. I myself is following the course of Jonas Schmedtman for learning js and html&css.
Currently working through 100 days of python with Angela Yu, but I also have her Swift lesson, and I have Colt Steele's web course. Switched to python because I wanted to get a grasp on basics before diving into Mobile/Web.
I was lowkey considering Colt Steele or Dr Angela Yu courses then you made a video about them. What a coincidence! Now I have more resources to help me make a decision. Thanks a lot
Tiff thank you so much for guiding me to start Meta's Course on Coursera, It's by far the best option out of all the other options. So thank you, I appreciate you very much.
Which one of these 2 courses would you recommend me : Angela's course or Maximilian's course ? Pick one that you think is kinda better. Thanks in advance !
Welp. Should I do one of these courses or all 5? lol I've already bought most of Dr. Angela Yu courses, they're pretty great. Her teaching and course structure is 10/10. I also do freecodecamp every now and then. Would you say that ain't enough in the long run? So many resources always get me confused, anxious and _sometimes_ even stop me from progressing ('cuz idk what to choose, so i just choose nothing lol).
Hi, Tiff! I just watched your video. SUPER informative. I've been wanting to do a career change because I'm so tired of always going negatives on my bank account (I earn less than $1,800 US dollars per month). I've been doing research on academies that teach how to become a full stack developer but most of them are $10,000+, which I obviously don't have. Do you have any recommendations as to which bootcamps to take to become a full stack developer? I was supposed to have this phone call with a coder that offered advice, but he turned me down because I wasn't ready to drop $4,000 to work with him right away. I have a bunch of questions, like, do we need to know math? (I'm really, REALLY bad at math). I hope you get back to me. I appreciated how sincere you were in giving feedback of these bootcamps. Thank you so much in advance :)
Hi Tiffin, Thanks a lot for sharing these courses, now it will be easy for me to choose one. I have a question, should we learn these courses if we want to go for app development (mobile apps) ? Thanks
Just an fyi, you included Jose Portilla's old Full stack Python Django course. This one is very outdated. He just a released a new one that's fully updated. It's called "Django 4 and Python Full-Stack Developer Masterclass"
@Tiff In Tech Can I take all of them? Or would it be too much? I want to learn as much as I can but don’t want to overwhelm myself, I’m just starting my coding journey. Also, should I go this route first or do the Meta's Course on Coursera?
I'm surprised you didnt also mention the Python course run by Dr Angela Yu. I concurr she is a really great trainer, following her myself. The only irritating thing is, why has she not touched on PHP.Many write the language off as outdated but its still very much in use today on several platforms!
Hello! Thank you for such a detailed review of these courses. I am looking for a career change, and I would like to pursue web development. I am evaluating different programs. My question for you or anyone who can chime in is: Does taking a bootcamp through Udemy as reputable as taking a bootcamp through a university? I have seen a lot of bootcamp programs offered through Universities, not as part of a traditional degree, but through universities' continuing education programs. I'm sort of at a loss because I would like to commit to a program soon, but I'm uncertain if going through an established university for a bootcamp is a better or worse choice than using Udemy.
Personally, I wouldn't say bootcamps are worth it. They are good for providing direction and for being more hands-on but if you're disciplined enough, you can learn practically anything from Udemy and other resources and then use them to build your own projects and cement that knowledge. Bootcamps would be more reputable since just about anyone can create a Udemy course but if you're going for top-tier courses, this won't matter. They speak for themselves. It's really all about your drive to learn, apply and improve
Hi tiff thanks for the Udemy courses u mentioned I am familiar with all of these courses and have bought Max's course a month ago. It's great. My question is most of the content of these courses overlap so do I have to buy each of them
Hi Tiffin thanks a lot for sharing these courses, but I am still confused on web development by dr angela or web development zero to mastery by andrei . So according to you which one would be better for beginners?
Thank you so much for this information. I have a question. Would you recommending taking all of these courses over a full time boot camp? I’m enrolled in the coding dojo boot camp that’s starting in a couple of weeks but I have no experience. I don’t want to bite more than I can chew. Thank you!

I'm talking a 9 month to a year bootcamp style course with real project work designed to prepare you for the real word. I don't want to pay 29.95 for a course. All of these courses feel like something you might find off of Udemy or LinkedIn. Those are nice and all taking the cheap route but can't replace a full fledge year long program. I want access to lectures and teacher support along the education process. Does that make sense? These seem like another set of pre-recorded online self pace tutorials which to me are less then ideal or affective for developing solid programing skills. Andy ideas? I'm currently enrolled in a masters program in software engineering at Harvard but I'm thinking of redirecting my energy at web development. Where ever I transition to has to operate at a similar level in my opinion to be of any value. Thanks in advance for any recommendations. Ray
