The question nobody has answered is the KANN ULTRA vs FiiO M17 which is better? I ordered the FiiO M17 two years ago and never kept it. Should have kept it, so now I've ordered it again. One downside is the ac power is poor quality so you need the iFi iPower Elite 12v and now the M17 sounds even better. The extra Bass and Volume with the iFi iPower Elite is noticeable better than the average one that came with the M17. The iFi iPower Elite is exspensive at £299.99 but it's worth it. I hope someone witll do a review of these two DACs. If I buy the KANN ULTRA I'll do it and if it's good I'll keep the KANN ULTRA. I already know how good the FiiO M17. I play the M17 through SONY MDR-Z7M2 headphones. Not enough Base though unless I tweak the equalizer. I hope the next upgrade of KANN will have ac power like the FiiO M17. Same design and call it KANN ULTRA PLUS OR KANN ULTRA AC. Astell & Kernn what do you think?

Should have kept the volume animation matrix type effect from the older models. No one ever talks about the equalizer.

Regarding iems what would you recommend with the kann ultra? my full sise headphones are hifimam I also have fiio fh7 iems thanks
I have not used many IEMs but can recommend the Sennheiser HD490 Pro and Focal Clear MG. They sound expansive and amazing.
